  • Patent number: 12167273
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for cloud-based 5G security network architectures intelligent steering, workload isolation, identity, and secure edge steering. Specifically, various approaches are described to integrate cloud-based security services into Multiaccess Edge Compute servers (MECs). That is, existing cloud-based security services are in line between a UE and the Internet. The present disclosure includes integrating the cloud-based security services and associated cloud-based system within service provider's MECs. In this manner, a cloud-based security service can be integrated with a service provider's 5G network or a 5G network privately operated by the customer. For example, nodes in a cloud-based system can be collocated within a service provider's network, to provide security functions to 5G users or connected by peering from the cloud-based security service into the 5G service provider's regional communications centers.

  • Patent number: 12164460
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are configured to enable a receiver to provide feedback. In one example, a method performed at a device coupled to a serial bus includes receiving a write command from the serial bus in a datagram, writing a data byte received in a first data frame of the datagram to a register address identified by the datagram, and using a second data frame of the datagram to provide feedback regarding the datagram. Feedback may be provided by driving a data line of the serial bus to provide a negative acknowledgement during the second data frame when a transmission error is detected in the datagram, and refraining from driving the data line of the serial bus during the second data frame when no transmission error is detected in the datagram, thereby providing an acknowledgement of the datagram.

  • Patent number: 12167560
Abstract: An elevator provides for sliding and connecting or disconnecting an electronic device from a chassis circuit board and the subsequent removal of the device from a chassis slot. A sliding element between the device and the chassis includes tracks within which travel followers. Motion of the sliding element in a first direction causes the tracks to move with respect to the followers, pulling the device connector away from the mating circuit board connector. In a fully disconnected position, the device may be removed from the slot. Motion of the sliding element in the opposite direction causes the relative motion between the tracks and followers to urge the device connector toward the circuit board connector until, in a fully seated position, the device is connected to the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 12164986
Abstract: Generally, a computing device displays, on a display device of the computing device, a barcode to be read by a scanning device. When a barcode is displayed on the display device a determination is made as to whether the barcode is not fully displayed on the display device due to hardware of the computing device such as a punch hole in the display device for a camera, speaker, or microphone. If the barcode is not fully displayed due to the hardware of the computing device, the display of the barcode is modified so that the barcode is fully displayed on the display device despite the hardware of the computing device. Additionally or alternatively, if the scanning device has not completed the scan within a threshold amount of time, the display of the barcode on the display device is modified, such as by increasing or decreasing the resolution of the barcode.

  • Patent number: 12161420
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods in which a surgeon can use computer-implemented deformity assessment and correction tools to create 3D models of a bone. To ensure adequate healing, a surgeon may choose to use a prefabricated bone plate, a semi-customized bone plate, or a fully-customized bone plate to hold first and second bone portions in a corrected position. To select the appropriate prefabricated bone plate, the surgeon may identify three landmark locations on the first and second bone portions corresponding to desired fixation hole locations on the bone plate. The surgeon can then use a software application to evaluate multiple bone plate designs in a library and compare the average proximity of the landmark locations to fixation hole locations on each of the bone plate designs. Then, the surgeon can determine which bone plate design best fits the patient anatomy based on his comparison.
