    Abstract: Systems and methods include a remote access controller of an IHS (Information Handling System) that provides remote management of the IHS. The remote access controller initiates an update of firmware used to operate a hardware component of the IHS by transmitting a firmware image to the hardware component via a first signaling pathway connecting the remote access controller to the hardware component. The remote access controller detects a failure in transmission of the firmware image to the hardware component via the first signaling pathway and identifies a second signaling pathway connecting the remote access controller to the hardware component. The remote access controller resumes transmission of the firmware image to the hardware component via the second signaling pathway and the firmware used to operate the hardware component is updated using the transmitted firmware image.

    Abstract: Certain embodiments disclosed herein reduce or eliminate a communication bottleneck at the storage manager by reducing communication with the storage manager while maintaining functionality of an information management system. In some implementations, a client obtains information for enabling a secondary storage job (e.g., a backup or restore) from a storage manager and stores the information (which may be referred to as job metadata) in a local cache. The client may then reuse the job metadata for multiple storage jobs reducing the frequency of communication with the storage manager. When a configuration of the information management system changes, or the availability of resources changes, the storage manager can push updates to the job metadata to the clients. Further, a client can periodically request updated job metadata from the storage manager ensuring that the client does not rely on out-of-date job metadata.

Upon receiving from the client application, via the common client interface, a management action to be performed on a desired node, the configuration data is inspected to identify a specific plugin corresponding to the node interface installed on the desired node. The node management action is then performed on the desired node using the identified specific plugin. Accordingly, the client application can be implemented agnostic to the specific node interfaces installed on a node.

One or more coating layers of a pre-defined coating material are provided over the laminated template assembly to prepare a mold. The mold may then be sand-rained to form a sand coated mold. The sand coated mold may be de-waxed and baked for melting out the template assembly to form a de-waxed mold. A casting material is then poured over the de-waxed mold to form a casted mold which is cooled and solidified to form a casted implant which is further heat treated and finished to form the implant.
