  • Publication number: 20230229756
Abstract: Rapid launch of secure executables in a virtualized environment includes using a persisted security cache in a virtualized component (VC), such as a virtual machine. The VC generates a cache integrity value (IV), such as a hash value, for the security cache and sends it to a remote validator, which returns an indication of security cache validity or invalidity. Upon receiving a request to execute applications, the VC analyzes whether the applications have been determined to be safe to execute and have not been altered. The VC retrieves application IVs from the security cache, rather than hashing each of the applications, thereby saving compute time, and sends the application IVs to a remote validator, which returns an indication of application validity or invalidity.

Abstract: In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems, methods and devices for determining image compression optimums are provided. An image may be processed with a machine learning model that has been trained to identify object types in digital images. A first object and a first object type of the first object may be identified in the image. A first compressed version of the image may be generated, wherein the first compressed version has a first storage size. The first object and the first object type of the first object may be identified in the first compressed version of the image. A second compressed version of the image may be generated based on the identification of the first object and the first object type in the first compressed version of the image. The second compressed version may have a smaller storage size than the first storage size.

  • Publication number: 20230229866
Abstract: Contracts are a fundamental tool for coordinating economic activity and need to be managed throughout the lifecycle of contracts. The existing methods are incomplete, expensive, time-consuming, and error-prone. A method and system for management of lifecycle of contracts have been provided. The system leverages a combination of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques appropriate for different micro services in contract lifecycle management. The deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques help in understanding of clauses of the contract, risk levels involved in the contract. The system is configured to automatically generate contracts for a customer based on the other criteria of the customer. The system also identifies alternate options to risky clauses and mandatory clauses to be included.

  • Publication number: 20230229477
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, medium, and system for upgrade of telco node cluster running cloud-native network functions are disclosed. In one computer-implemented method, a worker node group that includes a plurality of worker nodes is determined in a container orchestration platform. A first node to upgrade is determined within the worker node group. All pods in the first node are deactivated by a high availability as a service (HAaaS) module. Standby pods in a second node are activated by the HAaaS module and as active pods. All network traffic associated with all the pods in the first node is migrated to the active pods. The first node is deleted from the worker node group. Hardware resources associated with running the first node are released. A third node is generated as a new worker node in the worker node group and uses the released hardware resources.

  • Publication number: 20230231933
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method that identifies a first number of requests received at a first application. Based on the first number of requests received at the first application, the method determines that a second application that processes requests after processing by the first application requires additional resources to handle a second number of requests that will be received at the second application. The method increases the amount of resources available to the second application prior to the second application receiving the second number of requests.

  • Publication number: 20230229579
Abstract: A technique of processing storage cluster performance metrics involves obtaining access to performance metrics from storage appliances of a storage cluster, the performance metrics identifying performance for storage objects managed by the storage appliances. The technique further involves, after access to the performance metrics is obtained, disregarding a duplicate set of performance metrics for a storage object that migrates from a first storage appliance of the storage cluster to a second storage appliance of the storage cluster. The technique further involves, after the duplicate set of performance metrics is disregarded, archiving the performance metrics to an archive. After archiving the performance metrics to the archive, the technique may provide a performance analysis based on the performance metrics from the archive as well as adjust operation of the storage cluster according to the performance analysis.

  • Publication number: 20230228254
Abstract: A lubrication system for a pitch bearing of a wind turbine includes a lubricant for lubricating contact surfaces between an outer race, an inner race, and a plurality of rolling elements of the pitch bearing. Further, the lubrication system includes a lubricant inlet formed into a first side of the inner race and an inlet seal for sealing the lubricant inlet so as to prevent the lubricant from leaking from the lubricant inlet. Moreover, the lubrication system includes a lubricant outlet formed into an opposing, second side of the inner race and a lubricant collection container arranged adjacent to and in fluid communication with the lubricant outlet and mounted to the inner race. Thus, during operation of the wind turbine, at least one of a slope of the pitch bearing, gravity, and a centrifugal effect cause the lubricant to flow throughout the pitch bearing to lubricate the contact surfaces without exiting a closed volume defined by the inlet seal(s) and the lubricant collection container(s).
