Each radiation fin has first wind guiding wall portions and second wind guiding wall portions respectively tilted in reversed directions to facilitate the flow of air through the heat-dissipation passages.

    Abstract: A wireless communication device includes a housing and an antenna assembly. The antenna assembly includes a base board, a feed member electronically connecting with the base board to carry an electrical current, and a radio member including a first radio portion, the first radio portion defining a first slot. The radiator couples with the feed member, inducing an electrical current in the first radio portion. The radio member is electronically connected to the base board through the metal housing, enabling the induced electrical current to flow through the first radio portion, the metal housing, and the base board to form a current loop. The induced electrical current flows through the first slot to excite a first resonance mode, enabling the antenna assembly to receive/transmit a first wireless signal.

The reflector structure includes a Distributed Bragg Reflector (DBR) structure having layers configured to reflect yellow light as well as blue light. In one example, the DBR structure includes a first portion where the thicknesses of the layers are larger, and also includes a second portion where the thicknesses of the layers are smaller. In addition to having a reflectance of more than 97.5 percent for light of a wavelength in a 440 nm-470 nm range, the overall reflector structure has a reflectance of more than 90 percent for light of a wavelength in a 500 nm-700 nm range.

The current blocking structures are formed of an insulating material such as silicon dioxide. The strip-shaped current blocking structure is located directly underneath the strip-shaped electrode. The plurality of current blocking structures may be disc shaped portions disposed in rows adjacent the strip-shaped current blocking structure. Distribution of the current blocking structures is such that current is prevented from concentrating in regions immediately adjacent the electrode, thereby facilitating uniform current flow into the active layer and facilitating uniform light generation in areas not underneath the electrode. In another aspect, current blocking structures are created by damaging regions of a p-GaN layer to form resistive regions.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for encoding of video data incorporating loop filtering are disclosed. The method and apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention determines an initial loop filter level for a frame of the video data according to quality setting of the frame. The information associated with the initial loop filter level is incorporated in the bitstream corresponding to compressed video data. The loop filtering is applied to a macroblock without the need to wait for the whole frame reconstruction to complete. In another embodiment according to the present invention, the initial loop filter level may be refined according to stability associated with the frame. In yet another embodiment according to the present invention, the method may include determining whether segment mode is on or off and determining a frame-level or segment-level initial loop filter level accordingly.
