Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods for operating a database management system (DBMS) in a cloud environment. An assembly worker executing at a first computing device may provide a first database protocol message generated by a process code executing at the first computing device. A translation engine executed at the cloud environment may translate the first database protocol message from a first format to a second format associated with a DBMS instance executing at the cloud environment to generate a translated first database protocol message. The translation engine may cause the translated first database protocol message to be provided to the DBMS instance and may receive, from the DBMS instance, a first reply corresponding to the translated first database protocol message. The first reply may be sent to the process code.

Abstract: An approach is provided for a gaming overlay application to provide automatic in-game subtitles and/or closed captions for video game applications. The overlay application accesses an audio stream and a video stream generated by an executing game application. The overlay application processes the audio stream through a text conversion engine to generate at least one subtitle. The overlay application determines a display position to associate with the at least one subtitle. The overlay application generates a subtitle overlay comprising the at least one subtitle located at the associated display position. The overlay application causes a portion of the video stream to be displayed with the subtitle overlay.

Abstract: A splicing screen includes a connecting plate and two sub-displays. The sub-display screens include gate signal lines, data lines, and first pads, each of which is electrically connected to a data line or a gate signal line. The connecting plate is arranged on one side of the sub-display screen facing away from a light-emitting side thereof. Two first pads connected to the data lines or gate signal lines of two sub-display screens that are spliced are connected in pair by the connecting plate. By utilizing pads and the connection plate to achieve a communication between the signal lines in the sub-display screens without needing, a drive circuit at an edge of each sub-display screen, a width of the non-display area at the splicing slit is reduced. The first pads are provided at one side of the sub-display screen facing the connecting plate, which reduces the width of the splicing slit.

Abstract: A method for controlling a traffic light, a method and apparatus for navigating an unmanned vehicle and a method and apparatus for training a model are provided. An implementation comprises: generating a reinforced traffic light state parameter according to vehicle state representation information of an unmanned vehicle currently contained in a preset area of a target traffic light and a current traffic light state parameter of the target traffic light; and generating a traffic light control action according to the reinforced traffic light state parameter; where the reinforced traffic light state parameter is used to cause an unmanned vehicle navigation end to generate a reinforced vehicle state parameter according to a reinforced traffic light state and a current vehicle state parameter of a target unmanned vehicle, and generate an unmanned vehicle navigation action according to the reinforced vehicle state parameter.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a solution is used to provide for multiple and concurrent web application accessing of a database in a database-as-a-service (DBaaS) framework. More particularly, a cloud solution is provided on a DBaaS for leveraging Docker network functionality to provide a virtual Internet Protocol (IP) address pool, while utilizing in-memory database technology to set up an entire accessing solution for multiple and concurrent DBaaS users and web applications, which serve the data-intensive jobs to the in-memory database. This allows for improved functionality, performance, concurrency, and handling of network stress.

Abstract: A method of tenant user management in cloud database operation can be implemented. The method can receive an original job request from a user for a database service, wherein the original job request can include a login credential of the user. The method can authenticate the login credential of the user by a scheduler, verify the user has privileges for the original job request by the scheduler, create a modified job request from the original job request by the scheduler based on a predefined role corresponding to the privileges of the user, send the modified job request from the scheduler to a database service platform, and allocate an instance of database service to the user in response to the modified job request.

Abstract: A preparation method of a screw pump screw pump screw rod rubber lining mould includes: mixing a high strength wear-resistant material with a binder to obtain a mixed slurry; injecting the mixed slurry into a female die for solidification and taking out to form a screw rod rubber lining mould preform; drying and sintering the screw rod rubber lining mould preform to obtain a screw rod rubber lining mould; immersing the screw rod rubber lining mould into a surface treatment liquid for surface heat treatment to form a wear-resistant layer, and cooling down to obtain a final mould. The high strength wear-resistant material is prepared by using a ZnFe2O4 nano-particle reinforced Ti(C,N)-based metal ceramic composite material; the surface treatment liquid includes an aluminum borosilicate whisker/polyimide composite material solution; the high strength wear-resistant material having good strength, good hardness, good fracture toughness, and good wear resistance is prepared and applied.

Steel-copper explosive clad cylinders and a steel support plate are disposed in/on the side plate, inner ring surfaces of the side plates and the copper plates are connected to a copper sleeve around the cathode roller core, outer ring surfaces of the copper plates and the steel support plates are connected to a copper cylinder, inner ring surfaces of the steel support plates are connected to the cathode roller core; and multiple electrically conductive support rings on the copper cylinder are connected to the copper plates on two sides through the electrically conductive copper bars to form a conducting loop to improve the distribution uniformity of the current on the surface of the cathode roller.

Abstract: A display panel including a pixel driving circuit is provided. The pixel driving circuit includes a first pixel driving circuit layer, a second pixel driving circuit layer, and a capacitor. The capacitor is electrically connected with a transistor of the first pixel driving circuit layer. The capacitor includes a first electrode plate. The second pixel driving circuit layer is arranged on the first electrode plate. At least one transistor of the second pixel driving circuit layer at least partially overlaps with the first electrode plate, so that the space occupied by the pixel driving circuit can be saved.

Abstract: The present application discloses an array substrate and a display panel. The array substrate comprises a flexible substrate, a thin-film transistor layer, a planarization layer, and a pixel electrode layer, wherein the thin-film transistor layer comprises driving circuit units and metal wires, a groove is defined between adjacent driving circuit units, and a plurality of protrusions are formed at positions where the groove overlaps the metal wires. The array substrate according to the present application improves stability of the array substrate.

The method includes: obtaining engineering parameter data and MR data of a base station; gridding the MR data to obtain grid MR data, and calculating a calculated value of longitude and latitude data of the base station according to the grid MR data; comparing the calculated value of the longitude and latitude data of the base station with longitude and latitude data of the base station in the engineering parameter data to select engineering parameter data, which is input into a load prediction model, of the base station; inputting the engineering parameter data of the base station selected into the load prediction model to train and predict the load prediction model; and issuing a corresponding power-saving turn-off strategy according to a prediction result of the load prediction model.

The camera module includes a lens array, an SMA wire, a drive port of the SMA wire, and an electrical connector electrically connected between the SMA wire and the drive port of the SMA wire. The electrical connector may form a tight coupling relationship with at least one of the following: the electrical connector, the SMA wire, and another electrical connector. Solutions provided in this application help reduce a degree of magnetic interference to a magnetic sensitive electronic component in the camera module.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that automatically generating a gameplay recording from an application. Techniques are provided to extract data from a buffer, the extracted data are associated with the application; to detect, based on a signature associated with the extracted data, the occurrence of an event; and upon detection of the occurrence of the event, to generate the gameplay recording from an output of the application.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a solution is used to provide for a highly efficient image dispatch system for container-based in-memory databases in a database-as-a-service framework that provides storage and bandwidth cost savings and introduces advanced features of container techniques. This solution makes best use of the advantages of the concurrent and distributed capabilities of in-memory databases in a database-as-a-service framework. A container operator manager provides operators for various uses, such as the “diff” operator and the “merge” operator. A dispatch manager acts as a centralized service for diff content maintenance, patch publication and management of dispatch worker nodes. A patch worker on each node has the capabilities to execute the specified patching and validation between the images located on each side of the in-memory database in the database-as-a-service framework.

Abstract: A hot-spinning formation method for large-diameter titanium alloy cylindrical parts. A workblank is placed in a resistance furnace to heated to 600-650° C., is maintained at this temperature for 0.5-1 h and is then taken out of the resistance furnace; after the workblank is heated, the inner diameter of the workblank becomes larger; the heated workblank is installed on a mandrel, and spinning is started when a maximum clearance between the workblank and the mandrel is less than 0.5 mm; the mandrel and the spinning rollers do not need to be preheated, and a multi-pass spinning process is adopted, such that the workblank can deform more uniformly. A vertical spinning lathe is used for spinning, the mandrel is easy to change, and the workblank is easy to assemble and disassemble.
