Abstract: The present disclosure provides a bone conduction-based clamping device and processing method. The device includes a handle, a clamping structure provided on one side of the handle, and a sound generating processor provided inside the handle. A user puts food into his mouth cavity by clamping the food with the clamping structure, and a vibration signal generated by the sound generating processor is transmitted to the food by the clamping structure and then transmitted to the user’s auditory system by an oral tissue or teeth of the user, thereby avoiding the pressing feeling caused by wearing in a pressing manner. Putting the clamping structure into the user’s mouth cavity can also reduce sound leakage, improve sound quality and protect privacy. In addition, the food can be replaced by the clamping structure, thereby guaranteeing hygiene and health, improving the usage rate of the device, and realizing multi-user sharing.

Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods for operating a database management system (DBMS) in a cloud environment. An assembly worker executing at a first computing device may provide a first database protocol message generated by a process code executing at the first computing device. A translation engine executed at the cloud environment may translate the first database protocol message from a first format to a second format associated with a DBMS instance executing at the cloud environment to generate a translated first database protocol message. The translation engine may cause the translated first database protocol message to be provided to the DBMS instance and may receive, from the DBMS instance, a first reply corresponding to the translated first database protocol message. The first reply may be sent to the process code.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that automatically generating a gameplay recording from an application. Techniques are provided to extract data from a buffer, the extracted data are associated with the application; to detect, based on a signature associated with the extracted data, the occurrence of an event; and upon detection of the occurrence of the event, to generate the gameplay recording from an output of the application.

Abstract: An optical film for a sub-millimeter light emitting diode (MiniLED) backlight module and a method for preparing the optical film are disclosed. The MiniLED backlight module includes a diffusion film, an optical film, a reflection film and MiniLED chips. The diffusion film is provided above the optical film. The reflection film is provided under the MiniLED chips. The MiniLED chips are provided between the reflection film and the optical film. The first end of the optical film includes multiple first microstructures. The second end of the optical film includes multiple second microstructures. In the disclosure, photoresists are spin-coated on one end of an optical film substrate. A lithography direct write process is adopt to form a microstructure morphology on the surface of the OCA. The morphology is cured after development and hot baking to obtain an optical film.

Abstract: An approach is provided that receives a question at a question-answering (QA) system. A number of passages are identified that are relevant to the received question. A question knowledge graph is generated that corresponds to the question and a set of passage knowledge graphs are also generated with each passage knowledge graph corresponding to one of the identified passages. Each of the passage knowledge graphs are compared to the question knowledge graph with the comparison resulting in a set of knowledge graph candidate answers (kgCAs). A set of candidate answers (CAs) is computed by the QA with at least one of the CAs being based on one of the kgCAs.

A container operator manager provides operators for various uses, such as the “diff” operator and the “merge” operator. A dispatch manager acts as a centralized service for diff content maintenance, patch publication and management of dispatch worker nodes. A patch worker on each node has the capabilities to execute the specified patching and validation between the images located on each side of the in-memory database in the database-as-a-service framework.

Abstract: Disclosed is a hydrofining catalyst comprising: an inorganic refractory component comprising a first hydrodesulfurization catalytically active component in a mixture with at least one oxide selected from the group consisting of alumina, silica, magnesia, calcium oxide, zirconia and titania; a second hydrodesulfurization catalytically active component; and an organic component comprising a carboxylic acid and optionally an alcohol. The hydrofining catalyst of the present application shows improved performance in the hydrofining of distillate oils. Also disclosed are a hydrofining catalyst system comprising the hydrofining catalyst, a method for preparing the catalyst and catalyst system, and a process for the hydrofining of distillate oils using the catalyst or catalyst system.

The method can receive an original job request from a user for a database service, wherein the original job request can include a login credential of the user. The method can authenticate the login credential of the user by a scheduler, verify the user has privileges for the original job request by the scheduler, create a modified job request from the original job request by the scheduler based on a predefined role corresponding to the privileges of the user, send the modified job request from the scheduler to a database service platform, and allocate an instance of database service to the user in response to the modified job request.

The techniques include acquiring a current abdomen positioning image; inputting the current abdomen positioning image into a pre-trained liver outline acquisition model, and obtaining current liver outline information outputted by the liver outline acquisition model; the liver outline acquisition model being obtained by training, using a first quantity of historical abdomen positioning images as an input set, and using a first quantity of historical liver outline information respectively corresponding to the first quantity of historical abdomen positioning images as an output set; based on the current liver outline information, calculating an abdomen scanning range and a scanning center position, and applying the scanning range and scanning center position in a current scanning protocol; and using the scanning protocol to perform a magnetic resonance scan of an abdomen.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a new solution is provided for an in-memory database provided in a cloud as a service that enables “job cross running” instead of “parallel job running.” Specifically, job scripts are clustered based on a shared service. A primary job script in the cluster is compiled and executed, but secondary job scripts in the cluster are not compiled until after the execution of the primary job script has begun. A mock library is inserted into each of the secondary job scripts to cause service calls for the shared service in the secondary job scripts to be replaced with mock service calls. The secondary job scripts are then scheduled and executed, and upon completion the primary job script is permitted to delete the shared service.
