    Abstract: One or more heat pipes are utilized along with a substrate in order to provide heat dissipation through the substrate for heat that can build up at an interface between the substrate and one or more semiconductor chips in a package. In an embodiment the heat pipe may be positioned on a side of the substrate opposite the semiconductor chip and through-substrate vias may be utilized to dissipate heat through the substrate. In an alternative embodiment, the heat pipe may be positioned on a same side of the substrate as the semiconductor chip and may be thermally connected to the one or more semiconductor chips.

    Abstract: Mechanisms for improving static noise margin and/or reducing misread current in multi-port devices are disclosed. In some embodiments related to dual port SRAM a suppress device (e.g., transistor) is provided at each word line port. When both ports are activated, both suppress devices are on and lower the voltage level of these ports, which in turn lower the voltage level at the node storing the data for the memory. As the voltage level at the data node is lowered, noise margin is improved and read disturb can be avoided.

The pick-and-place device is movably disposed above the testing platform. The pick-and-place device includes an electromagnetic shielding cap and a signal transmission structure. When the pick-and-place device places the DUT on the test-bench module, the electromagnetic shielding cap cooperates with the electromagnetic shielding chamber of the testing platform to form an isolated space for isolating the DUT, and furthermore, the signal pin disposed on an upper surface of the DUT can be electrically connected to the test-bench module through the signal transmission structure.

    Abstract: A wood working lathe includes a granite lathe bed including a guiding rail extending thereon longitudinally and an opening vertically formed through an end thereof, with the opening in communication with the guiding rail. A driving unit is installed to the lathe bed. A granite fixed stock is disposed on the end of the lathe bed relative to the opening of the lathe bed and includes a driven unit inserted therethrough axially and a compartment formed therein and in communication with the driven unit. The driving unit drives the driven unit to turn through the compartment. A granite foot stock is slidably installed on another end of the lathe bed and includes a positioned member for selectively fixing the foot stock to the lathe bed and a feeding device. An axis of the feeding device is coaxial with an axis of the driven unit, with cooperation of the driven unit and the feeding device adapted for clamping works to be turned.

    Abstract: A wafer level chip scale packaging structure and the method of fabricating the same are provided to form a sacrificial layer below the bump using a normal semiconductor process. The bump is used to connect the signals between the Si wafer and the PCB. The interface between the sacrificial layer and the adjacent layers is the weakest part in the whole structure. When the stress applied to the bump is overloaded, the interface between the sacrificial layer and the adjacent layers will crash to remove the stress generated by different thermal expansion coefficients of the Si wafer and the PCB. The sacrificial layer would help avoid the crash occurring to the bump to protect the electrical conduction between the Si wafer and the PCB.
