    Abstract: The present subject matter describes determination of amount of print media present in an input tray of a printing system. In an example implementation of the present subject matter, a current operating torque of a motor that moves a pick arm for drawing print media from the input tray is monitored. The current operating torque is monitored while the pick arm is moved between a rest position and a pick-ready position. Based on the monitored operating torque, it is determined whether amount of print media present in the input tray is one of below and above a predefined amount of print media.

    Abstract: A device for managing an HDD backplane includes a mainboard and a backplane. The mainboard includes a first connector port and a second connector. The backplane includes a first HDD interface, a second HDD interface, an I2C selector, and a CPLD. The first and second HDD interfaces are both electrically connected to the CPLD. The first and second connector ports are both electrically connected to the I2C selector. The I2C selector is electrically connected to the CPLD. The CPLD receives an identification signal from the first HDD interface or the second HDD interface, and determines a type of HDD inserted in the first HDD interface or in the second HDD interface, and outputs a controlling signal to the I2C selector according to the type of HDD which is identified. The I2C selector turns on the first connector port and the second connector port according to the controlling signal.

    Abstract: Methods of fabricating a probe are described. In an example, a structure may be formed on a surface of a substrate. The structure may include the probe, a hinge, and an anchor arranged linearly, where an angle is formed between the probe and the hinge. The hinge may be positioned between the probe and the anchor, and the structure may be parallel to the substrate. An amount of solder may be deposited on an area of the structure that spans from a portion of the probe to a portion of the anchor, and across the hinge. The deposited solder may be reshaped by an execution of a solder reflow process. The reshape of the deposited solder may cause the probe to rotate about the hinge in order to reduce the angle between the probe and the hinge.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a non-contact wire array tension control device for controlling a plurality of tension respectively corresponding to a plurality of electrical discharge wires, including delivering spools and electromagnets. The delivering spool has a magnetic end and a wire outputting end, the wire outputting end is coupled with an electrical discharge wire for outputting the electrical discharge wire. A plurality of electromagnets are coupled to the corresponding magnetic end for controlling a spin rate of the corresponding delivering spool, wherein the spin rate of the corresponding delivering spool is controlled by adjusting a magnetic force generated by the electromagnet. Moreover, a magnetic direction of the electromagnet is parallel to an axial direction of the delivering spool. The invention uses the electromagnets to control the magnetic damping force of the delivering spools for simultaneously controlling the tension of the electrical discharge wires by non-contact method.

The two heterogeneous wafers are low temperature bonded together to form the multi-layer wafer.
