  • Publication number: 20220059018
Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) display can calculate a common voltage charge of a line of pixels in the LED display, the common voltage charge comprising a difference between a first line of pixels and a second line of pixels. If the calculated common voltage charge exceeds a predetermined threshold, a toggle matrix can be generated for the line of pixels. The toggle matrix can include a matrix of charge values generated by calculating a difference in charge values for each subpixel a first line of subpixels with each subpixel a second line of subpixels. The LED display can identify one or more regions of subpixels exhibiting the predetermined toggle pattern in the toggle matrix. The LED display can generate a voltage correction charge to apply to affected regions of the display. Alternatively, the subpixels or pixels could be swapped with adjacent pixels to reduce toggling or settling error.

  • Patent number: 10923012
Abstract: An electronic device may include a display. The display may include display driver circuitry that is configured to provide image data to columns of pixels and gate driver circuitry that is configured to provide control signals to rows of pixels. The display may be operable at a native refresh rate that is equal to the highest refresh rate at which the display has full resolution. The display may also be operable in a high refresh rate mode with a high refresh rate that is twice (or some other scaling factor greater than) the native refresh rate. To enable operation at the high refresh rate mode, vertical resolution of the display may be sacrificed. In other words, rows of pixels may be grouped together into effective rows that are then scanned in sequence. The gate driver circuitry may be formed as thin-film transistor circuitry or from gate driver integrated circuits.

  • Patent number: 10284124
Abstract: A motor driving circuit for receiving a control signal to output at least one output current for driving a motor is provided. The motor driving circuit includes an input module, a gain module, an output module, a first slew rate limiting module, and a second slew rate limiting module. The first slew rate limiting module has a first limiting parameter. The second slew rate includes a second limiting parameter. An output current is outputted by the output terminal. When a rising slew rate of the output current is less than a first slew rate value, the first slew rate limiting module does not operate. When the rising slew rate of the output current is greater than the first slew rate value, the motor driving circuit limits the rising slew rate of the output current based on the first limiting parameter of the first slew rate limiting module.
