  • Publication number: 20050199728
Abstract: Disclosed is an automatically-activated wireless code symbol reading system comprising a bar code symbol reading mechanism contained within a hand-supportable housing having a manually-activatable data transmission switch. During symbol reading operations, the bar code symbol reading mechanism automatically generates a visible laser scanning pattern for repeatedly reading one or more bar code symbols on an object during a bar code symbol reading cycle, and automatically generating a new symbol character data string in response to each bar code symbol read thereby. During system operation, the user visually aligns the visible laser scanning pattern with a particular bar code symbol on an object (e.g. product, bar code menu, etc.) so that the bar code symbol is scanned, detected and decoded in a cyclical manner.

  • Publication number: 20050156563
Abstract: An inductive charger is adapted for a portable electrical devices or information products and connects with a rectifier for charging. The inductive charger includes a hollow carrier, at least a coil surrounding an outer surface of the carrier, fixed magnets and at least a sliding magnet. The carrier has a pair of end portions opposite to each other, and the fixed magnets are respectively located on the end portions of the carrier. N poles and S poles of the fixed magnets are oriented coincident with each other. The sliding magnet is located between the fixed magnets, and N pole and S pole of the sliding magnet is opposing to N poles and S poles of the fixed magnets. When the carrier is driven, the sliding magnet moves back and forth between the fixed magnets due to magnetic repulsion of the sliding magnet, which changes flux of the coil thereby producing induced electromotive force.

  • Publication number: 20050146660
Abstract: A liquid crystal display. The liquid crystal display comprises a liquid crystal panel, a backlight module, a bezel and a light-inductive adhesive layer. The backlight module and the bezel are disposed respectively on the two surfaces of the liquid crystal panel so that the liquid crystal panel and the backlight module are enclosed by the bezel. The light-inductive adhesive layer is disposed between the liquid crystal panel and the bezel to adhere the bezel to the liquid crystal panel. When light of a specific wavelength irradiates the light-inductive adhesive layer, the light-inductive adhesive layer loses adhesion, enabling separation of the liquid crystal panel and the bezel.

  • Publication number: 20050142182
Abstract: The present invention relates to a liposome having a phospholipid bilayer and a hydrophilic core, wherein the phopspholipid bilayer contains D-alpha tocopheryl polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate (TPGS). The liposomes are first prepared by solvent injection and extrusion method, and then drug loading by ammonium sulfate gradient. The TPGS in the liposome composition can prolong the circulation time of liposomes and thus increase the chance for the drug composition to enter target sites so as to improve the efficiency of drug delivery.

  • Patent number: 6897275
Abstract: Transition metal complexes of selected monoanionic phosphine ligands, which also contain a selected Group 15 or 16 (IUPAC) element and which are coordinated to a Group 3 to 11 (IUPAC) transition metal or a lanthanide metal, are polymerization catalysts for the (co)polymerization of olefins such as ethylene and ?-olefins, and the copolymerization of such olefins with polar group-containing olefins. These and other nickel complexes of neutral and monoanionic bidentate ligands copolymerize ethylene and polar comonomers, especially acrylates, at relatively high ethylene pressures and surprisingly high temperatures, and give good incorporation of the polar comonomers and good polymer productivity. These copolymers are often unique structures, which are described.
