    Abstract: Peer-to-peer redundant file server system and methods include clients that determine a target storage provider to contact for a particular storage transaction based on a pathname provided by the filesystem and a predetermined scheme such as a hash function applied to a portion of the pathname. Servers use the same scheme to determine where to store relevant file information so that the clients can locate the file information. The target storage provider may store the file itself and/or may store metadata that identifies one or more other storage providers where the file is stored. A file may be replicated in multiple storage providers, and the metadata may include a list of storage providers from which the clients can select (e.g., randomly) in order to access the file.

    Abstract: Techniques described herein may be used to conserver battery power of an Internet of Things (IoT) tracker by increasing the overall amount of time that the IoT tracker is in a battery conservation mode (a sleep mode, a Power Save Mode (PSM), etc.). A IoT tracker may implement a battery conservation policy that may include instructions that cause the IoT tracker to monitor certain conditions, determine when the conditions satisfy a particular trigger, and implement a battery conservation mode in response to those conditions. Examples of such conditions may include (1) the IoT tracker being close to a user device designated to track the location of the IoT tracker, (2) identifying that a current time and day are associated with a pre-selected schedule for disabling tracking services, (3) the IoT tracker being located within a particular geographic area, and more.

    Abstract: Generation and segregation of mobile device biometric application template storage is described. Applications request a memory domain within mobile device storage for storing enrolled templates in the domain. The application calls a secure API associated with the biometric driver and software of the mobile device. As a result, the biometric driver and software does not search a number of domains to locate the enrolled templates that correspond to the mobile application or search all enrolled templates stored in memory. The mobile device applications maintain control of the storage domain and the template. The enrolled template may only be deleted through the controlling mobile device application.

    Abstract: A charger and a mobile device exchange messages indicating that high wattage charging is supported over a bidirectional communication channel. After the message exchange, the charger sends a controlled output voltage and current to the mobile device over a cable connected between the charger and the mobile device. The mobile device takes an input voltage measurement that corresponds to the controlled output voltage after being passed through the cable. The charger or mobile device may then calculate a resistance of the cable based on a difference between the controlled output voltage and the input voltage measurement. Based on the resistance of the cable, the controlled voltage and current used to charge a battery of the mobile device is adjusted in order to avoid exceeding capacity of the cable.

The surface of the silica gel particles is provided with a micropore structure. The quantum dots are adsorbed in micropores of the silica gel particles or dispersed in the adhesives. The silica gel particles and the diffusion particles are dispersed in the adhesives. The quantum dot film is applied to the backlight module and has the advantages of improving the color gamut and illuminance.
