Abstract: A code merging system is configured to manage the storage of source code on a local system in the software development cycle. A cloud environment hosts working source code, which is composed of metadata artifact components. Copies of some of the metadata artifact components are transferred to a source code control and merged with master source code in either a partial merge process or a full merge process.

Abstract: An image processing device which is capable of accurately detects and corrects areas affected by clouds even if multiple types or layers of clouds present in images, is disclosed. The device includes: a cloud spectrum selection unit for selecting at least one spectrum for each of pixels from spectra of one or more clouds present in an input image; an endmember extraction unit for extracting spectra of one or more endmembers other than the one or more clouds from those of the input image; and an unmixing unit for deriving fractional abundances of the respective spectra of one or more endmembers and a selected spectrum of one of the one or more clouds for the each of pixels in the input image.

Abstract: An information handling system obtains input pointer information originating from an input pointing device, obtains an existing wireframe model of a graphic user interface (GUI) content layout, and analyzes a user journey through the GUI content layout to obtain usage information. The information handling system may tag regions of the existing wireframe model based on the usage information, and rearrange the existing wireframe model to provide an improved wireframe model representative of an improved GUI content layout.

Abstract: Graphical menu management may be based on variable-length inputs to a touch sensitive display. An information handling system displays a graphical user interface presenting a listing of messages, channels, or other content. When a user makes a gestural input to the touch sensitive display, the information handling system determines a relative length of the input. The information handling system generates a menu of options based on the relative length of the input.

Abstract: A portable laparoscope is disclosed. In implementations, the portable laparoscope includes a housing and an elongated tube coupled to the housing. A lighting source and a camera are disposed proximate to an end of the elongated tube opposite the housing. The camera is configured to capture an image in a viewing area that is illuminated by light provided by the lighting source. The portable laparoscope includes an image display apparatus configured to display the images acquired by the camera and/or to transmit the images to a remote display device. The housing may be configured to hold and position an insufflator.

Abstract: An information handling system receives information from an input pointer, obtains a first coordinate from the information with respect to a first direction of a display, obtains a second coordinate from the information with respect to a second direction of a display screen, and obtains a third coordinate from a scrolling value representative of an amount of scrolling of a contiguous presentation of displayable information for display of a portion of the contiguous presentation of displayable information within the display. The system also obtains a fourth coordinate representative of a time at which the first coordinate and the second coordinate are obtained, and provides an unambiguous record of a user's navigation of the contiguous presentation of displayable information based on the first coordinate, the second coordinate, the third coordinate, and the fourth coordinate.

Abstract: Variety of approaches to provide an automatic group creation based on an organization hierarchy are described. A hosted service initiates operation(s) to automatically create a group upon detecting a new organization hierarchy or a utilization of a feature of a hosted service by an existing organization hierarchy. Next, group members are determined based on the organization hierarchy. The group is created that includes the group members to coordinate services within the hosted service based on the organization hierarchy. Furthermore, an attribute of the created group is defined. A resource is also generated for the created group. The resource includes a notebook, a work space, a collaboration site, and/or a planner. The created group is deployed to coordinate the services. The resource is managed through the services.

Abstract: An information handling system (IHS) includes spatially diverse IHS components and temperature sensors disposed with respect to the spatially diverse IHS components. A fan controller defines cooling sections of the IHS for spatially diverse fans based on topological information as to locations of the spatially diverse IHS components, and selectively controls the spatially diverse fans according to component temperatures obtained from the temperature sensors and according to the cooling sections.

Abstract: A vehicle exhaust system includes a conduit defining an exhaust gas flow path extending along a center axis, and wherein the conduit includes a doser opening. An exhaust gas aftertreatment component is positioned downstream of the conduit and at least one doser is configured to inject fluid into the conduit through the doser opening. A heating element pre-heats the fluid prior to mixing with exhaust gas. A perforated pipe is positioned within the exhaust gas flow path to surround the fluid injected by the doser.

Abstract: The device comprises of a housing defining a channel there through, a torsion-spring based clamping mechanism, a drop sensor connected with circuitry, a manual infusion fluid regulation mechanism and a power source. An upper portion of the channel accommodates at least a part of a drip chamber and a lower portion of the channel accommodates at least a part of infusion tubing. The clamping mechanism comprises of one or more torsion springs and is configured for engaging and holding drip chamber and can be adjusted according to the drip chamber diameter. The drop sensor and the circuits coupled with it are configured for detecting real time drop rate of the infusion fluid. The regulation mechanism comprises of a drivable pinching element for sliding into the channel and compressing the infusion tubing thereby regulating the flow of the infusion fluid through the infusion tubing.

Abstract: Embodiments include apparatuses, systems, and methods for a computer-aided or autonomous driving (CA/AD) system to transmit to a remote service scheduling server, a request message for a service slot at a service provider. In embodiments, the remote service scheduling server may assign the service slot for a semi-autonomous or autonomous driving (SA/AD) vehicle including the CA/AD system. In embodiments, the service scheduling server may perform analysis or machine learning on data received from the CA/AD system as well as from a plurality of service stations in order to assign the service provider and/or service slot to the SA/AD vehicle. In embodiments, the CA/AD system may receive an assignment message and control driving elements of the SA/AD vehicle to autonomously or semi-autonomously drive the SA/AD vehicle to the service provider to receive the service at the assigned service slot. The screen reader can provide a request for popular link information regarding a particular web resource to a search engine. The request can include a URL associated with the particular web resource. The request can be provided in response to a user request for a summary and/or the request can be provided based upon a user configurable setting (e.g., a quantity of popular links to be displayed). The screen reader can receive popular link information regarding the particular web resource from the search engine. The screen reader can then provide a summary comprising at least some of the received popular link information to the user. In response to selection of a particular popular link, the screen reader can redirect the browser to display a web resource associated with the particular popular link.

The selected events include tracking data indicative of how the demonstration is used by a user. The method also includes providing, by the server computer, the demonstration to a user device. The method also includes receiving, by the server computer, the tracking data from the user device.

Abstract: A product training and demonstration tool includes a computer system. The tool also includes a demonstration creation interface in the computer system, wherein the demonstration creation interface is configured to create a demonstration responsive to user input. The tool also includes an upload tool configured to upload a plurality of images to the demonstration. The tool also includes an image editing tool configured to create a clickable hotspot on a first one of the images in response to user input and to create a data entry display on a second one of the images in response to user input. The clickable hotspot includes a data entry field. The tool is configured to populate the display with data entered into the data entry field such that when the user is navigating through the demonstration, data entered into the data entry field will also be displayed in the data entry display.

Abstract: Techniques for provisioning access data may include receiving, by a first application installed on a communication device, user input selecting an account to provision to a second application installed on the communication device. The first application may invoke the second application and send a session identifier (ID) to the second application. The second application may send a user ID associated with the second application, a device ID, and the session ID to the first application. The first application may then generate encrypted provisioning request data and send the encrypted provisioning request data to the second application. The second application may send the encrypted provisioning request data to a remote server computer to request access data that can be used to access a resource. The second application may receive the access data provided by the remote server computer based on validation of the encrypted provisioning request data.

Abstract: A system capacitively senses a swiping motion to a touch sensitive display, determines a length associated with the swiping motion to the touch sensitive display, and displays a menu of options based on the length associated with the swiping motion. The system capacitively senses inputs to the touch sensitive display that correspond to selections from the menu, determines probabilities associated with the options, and modifies the menu based on the probabilities.

Abstract: According to embodiments, a multi-node database management system allows consumer processes (“consumers”) implementing a portion of a distributed data-combination operation to independently send a STOP notification to corresponding producer processes (“producers”). Upon a given consumer determining that the consumer requires no further information from corresponding producers, the consumer sends a STOP notification to the producers. When a given consumer sends out a STOP notification, the producers drop any data destined for the given consumer and also stops preparing data for and sending rows to the given consumer. Furthermore, once the producers receive STOP notifications from all of the consumers corresponding to the producers, the producers stop the current sub plan execution immediately without requiring completion of the sub plan.
