  • Publication number: 20120122422
Abstract: The invention relates to a method in an Access Network Discovery and Selection Function, ANDSF, node for distributing Closed Subscriber Group information. The CSG information comprises an Allowed CSG List of a first UE and cell information indicating position of a cell with controlled access associated to the Allowed CSG List. The method comprises retrieving an Allowed CSG List of the radio cell from a CSG Database over a first network 10 interface (CSGi) between the ANDSF node and the CSG Database. Furthermore, the ANDSF node triggers the first UE to establish a connection to the ANDSF node over a second network interface (ANDSFi) between the ANDSF node (90) and the first UE. In addition, the ANDSF node receives cell information indicating the position of the cell with controlled access and the Allowed CSG List is sent to the first UE.

  • Publication number: 20120106324
Abstract: In a mobile network with a plurality of access networks (210, 220), a control node (110) which is controlling access of a user equipment (300) to that one of the access networks (210, 220) which is currently used by the user equipment (300) determines an access capability of the user equipment (300) in said access network (210, 220), e.g. support of voice communication over packet switched access. The control node (110) provides an indication of the determined access capability to a subscriber database (150) associated with the user equipment (300). The indication may then be retrieved from the subscriber database (150) and be used to control termination of a connection to the user equipment (300).

  • Patent number: 8091652
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for controlling drilling parameters when drilling into rock with a drilling machine. During drilling, an impulse-generating device using an impact means is arranged to induce shock waves in a tool held against the rock, the said impulse-generating device being displaceable in the drilling direction relative to a supporting means, wherein a pressure level of a shock-wave-generating pressure is controlled during the drilling operation. A drilling speed of the said drilling is determined by determining a movement of the impulse-generating device with respect to the said supporting means, and the said shock-wave-generating pressure is controlled as a function of the said drilling speed that has been determined.

  • Publication number: 20110269473
Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to a method in a transceiver (110) for permitting access to a cellular communications system (100). The transceiver (110) is configured to transmit traffic to a communication node (101,120). The transceiver (110) receives a permission message from the communication node (101,120). The permission message indicates permission to a group of transceivers to transmit an access request message indicating a request to transmit the traffic to the communication node (101, 120). The transceiver (110) determines whether the transceiver (110) is comprised in the group of transceivers having permission to transmit the access request message based on the received permission message.

  • Patent number: 8023938
Abstract: Signal properties of a signal section (106) comprising a training sequence are compared with corresponding signal properties of other signal sections (108, 110). At a too large discrepancy, co-sequence interference is concluded to be present. The used signal property can preferably be a signal-to-noise ratio measure or a signal statistics measure. If the existence of co-sequence interference (102) is concluded, measures can be taken to avoid such interference and to mitigate the effects of the interference. A method for mitigating effects of co-sequence interference in channel estimation comprises a joint detection and estimation procedure performed under constrictions assuming presence of co-sequence interference.

  • Publication number: 20110206010
Abstract: The basic concept of the invention is to expand the capabilities of the MSC Server enhanced for SR-VCC and of the SCC AS to support a “session transfer revocation” procedure. To allow for such procedure it is envisaged that a MSC-Server enhanced for SR-VCC being involved in a Handover procedure for a call from a source RAN, e.g. E-UTRAN/UTRAN HSPA, to a target RAN, e.g. GERAN/UTRAN CS, sends an indication that a session transfer for said call should be performed towards the target RAN. Once the MSC-Server receives from a mobility management entity, such as MME or SGSN, of the source RAN an indication that a relocation request having initiated the session transfer indication is canceled, the MSC-Server may send an indication that the session transfer should be cancelled towards the SCC AS in the IMS which has performed the session transfer.

  • Publication number: 20110149908
Abstract: In a method of operating a wireless terminal, the wireless terminal (30) sends a request to participate in a circuit switched call with a circuit switched network. Prior to establishment of the circuit switched call the wireless terminal (30) releases or performs an inter-radio access technology handover of an existing packet switched session with an original packet switched network. The wireless terminal (30) then reconnects to the packet switched session to obtain a reconnected packet switched session. Thereafter the wireless terminal (30) interleaves packet switched transmissions of the reconnected packet switched session with voice transmissions of the circuit switched call.

  • Publication number: 20110149907
Abstract: A wireless terminal (30) is capable of communicating with a first network (22-1) and a second network (22-1, 22-3), the first network (22-1) being an LTE network. A wireless terminal method comprises (prior to making a request to participate in a circuit switched call with the second network) the wireless terminal (30) camping on a respective selected cell (of each of the first network and the second network and thereby having tuned to both the selected cell for the first network and the selected cell for the second network. In view of already camping on the selected cell of the second network, the wireless terminal (30) does not make a measurement with respect to a cell of the second network in a time period between the making of the request to participate in the circuit switch call and actual establishment of the circuit switched call with the second network.
