  • Patent number: 10325598
Abstract: Power consumption for a computing device may be managed by one or more keywords. For example, if an audio input obtained by the computing device includes a keyword, a network interface module and/or an application processing module of the computing device may be activated. The audio input may then be transmitted via the network interface module to a remote computing device, such as a speech recognition server. Alternately, the computing device may be provided with a speech recognition engine configured to process the audio input for on-device speech recognition.

  • Publication number: 20190180280
Abstract: A system and computer-implemented method for protecting against fraud by authenticating communications and communicative devices in real time and prior to accepting instructions or otherwise substantively engaging via the devices. A software app on the mobile phone of a cardholder creates a token, which is also provided to a card issuer. Historical authentication information is collected about the mobile phone and an associated cardholder. An authentication request, including the token, is received from the card issuer when communication is initiated by the mobile device. Current authentication information is also collected. The historical and current authentication information is analyzed, an authentication result is generated reflecting a likelihood that the mobile phone is being legitimately used by the cardholder associated with it, and the authentication result is communicated to the card issuer.

  • Patent number: 10318686
Abstract: Configuration data for an integrated circuit may be generated using logic design equipment to implement an circuit design on the integrated circuit. Implementing the circuit design may include placing functional blocks at optimal locations that increase the maximum operating frequency of the integrated circuit implementing the optimal circuit design. Logic design equipment may perform timing analysis on an initially placed circuit design that includes initially placed functional blocks. The timing analysis may identify one or more critical paths that may be shortened by moving the critical functional blocks within the circuit design to candidate placement locations. A levelized graph representing possible candidate locations and paths between the possible candidate locations may be traversed in a breadth-first search to generate a shortest updated critical path. The critical functional blocks may be moved to candidate locations corresponding to the updated critical path.
