  • Publication number: 20160259692
Abstract: A method, a master database node and a subscriber database node for optimizing index. The method for optimizing index includes: checking, by a master database node, if role information of an index matches role information of the master database node, when the index is added into the master database node; updating database information by using the index when the role information of the index matches the role information of the master database node. In this invention, unnecessary indexes in the master database node and the subscriber database node are reduced while keeping the schema the same. Furthermore, unnecessary logs transmitted from the master database node to the subscriber database node are reduced.

  • Publication number: 20160254903
Abstract: A circuit and method for implementing a adaptive bit-leveling function in an integrated circuit interface is disclosed. During a calibration operation, a pre-loaded data bit pattern is continuously sent from a sending device and is continuously read from an external bus by a receiving device. A programmable delay line both advances and delays each individual data bit relative to a sampling point in time, and delay counts relative to a reference point in time are recorded for different sampled data bit values, enabling a delay to be determined that best samples a data bit at its midpoint. During the advancing and delaying of a data bit, jitter on the data bit signal may cause an ambiguity in the determination of the midpoint, and solutions are disclosed for detecting jitter and for resolving a midpoint for sampling a data bit even in the presence of the jitter.

  • Publication number: 20160250196
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel securinine and norsecurine analogs that have reduced or non-reduced gamma-delta bond. The present invention also provides for methods of using securinine analogs, comprising administering one or more of the analogs to a myeloperoxidase enzyme, such as an enzyme with or proximal to a cell. As set out herein, the securinine analogs directly bind to and inhibit myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity. Accordingly, contacting or administering the analogs to an MPO enzyme allows for inhibition of MPO activity.

  • Publication number: 20160253594
Abstract: An electronic device described herein includes a sensing unit having at least one sensor to acquire sensing data. An associated computing device extracts sensor specific features from the sensing data, and generates a motion activity vector, a voice activity vector, and a spatial environment vector as a function of the sensor specific features. The motion activity vector, voice activity vector, and spatial environment vector are processed to determine a base level context of the electronic device relative to its surroundings, with the base level context having aspects each based on the motion activity vector, voice activity vector, and spatial environment vector. Meta level context of the electronic device relative to its surroundings is determined as a function of the base level context, with the meta level context being at least one inference made from at least two aspects of the plurality of aspects of the base level context.
