  • Patent number: 9497281
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards methods and systems for caching packet steering sessions for steering data packets between intermediary devices of a cluster of intermediary devices intermediary to a client and a plurality of servers. A first intermediary device receives a first data packet and determines, from a hash of a tuple of the first packet, a second intermediary device to which to steer the first packet. The first device stores, to a session for storing packet steering information, the identity of the second device and the tuple. The first device receives a second packet having a corresponding tuple that matches the tuple of the first packet and determines, based on a lookup for the session using the tuple of the second packet, that the second device is the intermediary device to which to steer the second packet. The first device steers the second packet to the second device.

  • Publication number: 20160328956
Abstract: A microprocessor-operated, networked device that uses sensors in, on and near the toilet to detects toilet leaks and overflows of the toilet tank or bowl, then reports these errant conditions with a visual or audible indicator in addition to sending a message via a network (if available) to a computer system that may collate this data with that from other toilets and other sources and subsequently determine further action such as shutting off water or calling a technician. The present invention can be integral to a toilet or removably attached to an existing toilet without this technology.

  • Publication number: 20160325486
Abstract: A method of forming a thermoformed article may include melt extruding polyethylene to form an extruded sheet. The rheological breadth parameter of the polyethylene may change by no more than about 5% after extrusion relative to the rheological breadth parameter of the polyethylene prior to extrusion. The extruded sheet may be thermoformed within a mold to form the thermoformed article. During thermoforming, the extruded sheet may be subjected to solid-state stretching in one or more directions. The thermoformed article may be retrieved from the mold. The polyethylene may have a rheological breadth parameter of from 0.20 to 0.40, a multimodal molecular weight distribution, a polydispersity (Mw/Mn) of from 5 to 18, a density ranging from 0.940 to 0.970 g/cc, may exhibit tensile strain-hardening, or combinations thereof.

  • Publication number: 20160328222
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods for managing application delivery in a network. A device intermediary to a client and one or more servers that provide a plurality of applications, receives a request from the client to access a first application of the plurality of applications. The device holds the request and retrieves, while holding the request, configuration information for an instance of the first application from a configuration repository. The device configures a virtual internet protocol (“VIP”) server using the configuration information for the instance of the first application. The device processes the request via the VIP server.

  • Patent number: 9489226
Abstract: When a virtual machine sends a write command to a host operating system, a cache system stores the record included in the write command and later sends the write command to a storage system. Systems and methods store an indication of when the write command was received along with the received records in the cache. The cache system determines an order of the records from the indication. In some instances, records received at the same time are serialized and/or assigned record numbers. The simultaneously received records can be assigned a batch number. According to the determined order, the records are retrieved from the cache memory and included in write commands sent to the storage system. In some instances, checkpoints can be stored to prevent records from being re-sent to the storage system following a failure.

  • Patent number: 9489425
Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to methods, systems, and computer program products for routing order lookups. Order data from order management system database is synchronized to an order cache. When an order lookup is received, a business layer determines if the cache can appropriately service the order lookup. If so, the business layer routes the order lookup to the cache. Otherwise, the business layer routes the order lookup to the order management system database. In some embodiments, order lookups configured to impact state of the order management system database (e.g., that write or change order data) are routed to the order management system database. In these same embodiments, order lookups configured to not impact state of the order management system database (e.g., that read order data) are routed to the cache.

  • Publication number: 20160321096
Abstract: A method and associated systems for anti-collocating multiple virtual entities in a cloud-computing environment. A computerized cloud-configuration system receives a list of virtual machines to be placed in a cloud and a set of anti-collocation rules that identify combinations of machines that may not be placed in a same location. Each virtual machine is assigned a priority and the machines are organized into groups as a function these priorities. The groups are processed sequentially in priority order, and a color is assigned to each virtual machine in each group. Any machine not constrained by an anti-collocation rule is assigned a default “most popular” color. Constrained machines are each assigned a color that is not already used by any other machine with which it is anti-collocated. The virtual machines in each group are then placed in the cloud in order of color, with the populous colors being assigned first.
