Abstract: The present invention provides for bioavailable oral dosage forms containing esters of 17-hydroxyprogesterone as well as related methods. The oral dosage forms can be formulated for pregnancy support and can include a therapeutically effective amount of an ester of 17-hydroxyprogesterone and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. In another embodiment, a pharmaceutically acceptable oral dosage form for pregnancy support is provided. The pharmaceutically acceptable oral dosage can include a therapeutically effective amount of an ester of 17-hydroxyprogesterone and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The oral dosage form can, when measured using a USP Type-II dissolution apparatus in 900 mL of deionized water with 0.5 (w/v) of sodium lauryl sulfate at 50 RPM at 37° C., release at least 20 wt % of the dose of the ester of 17-hydroxyprogesterone after 60 minutes, or in the alternative release at least 20 wt % more after 60 minutes than an equivalently dosed oral dosage form without the carrier.

  • Publication number: 20150323527
Abstract: Devices and methods incorporate mucolytic agents into a point-of-care testing device. The sample is loaded, and then the sample travels until it encounters one or more lysis agents and/or mucolytic agents. The mucolytic agent is preferably pre-loaded onto the collection device. In a preferred embodiment, the mucolytic agent is localized between the sample application zone and the conjugate zone. In embodiments with a sample compressor, one or more mucolytic agents may be pre-loaded and dried on the sample compressor, the sample collector, in various locations on the test strip, or in the running buffer.

  • Publication number: 20150317220
Abstract: Techniques are described for dynamically generating a disaster recovery plan. In an embodiment, a set of topology metadata is determined for a first site on which a multi-tier application is deployed and a second site where the multi-tier application will be activated in the event of switchover/failover. The topology metadata may include metadata that identifies a set of targets associated with a plurality of tiers on the first site on which the multi-tier application is deployed and also on the second site where the multi-tier application would be activated in the event of disaster recovery operation like switchover or failover. Based, at least in part, on the topology metadata for the first site and second site, a disaster recovery plan is generated. The disaster recovery plan includes an ordered set of instructions for deactivating the multi-tier application at the first site and activating the multi-tier application at a second site.

  • Publication number: 20150317221
Abstract: Techniques are described for providing error management capabilities for disaster recovery operations. In an embodiment, first user input is received that identifies a first error mode to assign to a particular step of a disaster recovery plan that includes a set of steps for performing a disaster recovery operation. In response to receiving the first user input, the particular step is associated with the first error mode. In response to determining that an error occurred while processing the particular step of the disaster recovery plan, the error mode that is associated with the particular step is determined. Error handling is performed for the particular step based, at least in part, on the error mode that is associated with the particular step of the disaster recovery plan.

  • Publication number: 20150317721
Abstract: Methods and system are disclosed that assist in executing tasks related to managing sales activities by an app on a mobile device. In one aspect, a user interface is provided via the app on the mobile device. The user interface renders information related to appointments associated with the sales activities. Upon receiving an input, a context menu is instantiated on the user interface. The context menu includes graphical elements that are associated with user interfaces for managing the sales activities. Upon receiving an input on the graphical element, a correspondence between the graphical element and the associated user interface is determined and the corresponding user interface is instantiated. The tasks related to managing the sales activities may be executed via the app on the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20150317212
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system for a time-based checkpoint target is provided for standby databases. Change records received from a primary database are applied for a standby database, creating dirty buffer queues. As the change records are applied, a mapping is maintained, which maps timestamps to logical times of change records that were most recently applied at the timestamp for the standby database. On a periodic dirty buffer queue processing interval, the mapping is used to determine a target logical time that is mapped to a target timestamp that is prior to a present timestamp by at least a checkpoint delay. The dirty buffer queues are then processed up to the target logical time, creating an incremental checkpoint. On a periodic header update interval, file headers reflecting a consistent logical time for the checkpoint are also updated. The intervals and the checkpoint delay are adjustable by user or application.
