  • Publication number: 20110159966
Abstract: An architecture that employs an internal entity that controls import and export of data (“import/export controller”) and an external entity that operates as a liaison (“data liaison”) between the import/export controller and one or more online social communities allows online social community access in a secure manner. The import/export controller and the data liaison handle data transmissions (e.g., data feeds, data updates, etc.) between the secure entity and the one or more online social communities. The import/export controller applies rules that regulate import and export of data, and the data liaison allows the import/export controller to operate in obscurity. Funneling data transmissions through the import/export controller and the data liaison allows players to securely access an online social community from a wagering game machine while in a wagering game establishment.

  • Publication number: 20110153722
Abstract: The present disclosure presents systems and methods for maintaining an original source IP address of a request by an intermediary network device despite the source IP address being modified by a cache server during an unfulfilled cache request. An intermediary receives a request from a client to access a destination server via a first transport layer connection. The client request identifies the client's IP address as a source IP address. The intermediary transmits to a cache server, via a second transport layer connection, the client request as a second request modified to include the client IP address of the first request in a header. The intermediary device receives, via a third connection, the second request as a third request from the cache server. The intermediary device obtains the client IP address from the header of the third request and transmits to the server identified in the first request the third request as a fourth request identifying the client IP address as the source IP address.

  • Publication number: 20110151871
Abstract: IMS networks with AVS sessions with multiple access networks. Systems and methods associate multiple access network sessions with a given user endpoint (UE) device. A UE is managed in an IMS network to have multiple concurrent sessions to corresponding access networks. An application server in the IMS network creates a computer-implemented representation of an audio video session (AVS). The AVS representation includes a first incoming leg (ICL) to represent at least the initial access network to which the UE has access. Subsequently, it is determined that the UE can access a different access network than the initial access network. The different access network is of different type than the initial access network.

  • Publication number: 20110154006
Abstract: Memory channel training parameters are function of electrical characteristics of memory devices, processor(s) and memory channel(s). Training steps can be skipped if the BIOS can determine that the memory devices, motherboard and processor have not changed since the last boot. Memory devices contain a serial number for tracking purposes and most motherboards contain a serial number. Many processors do not provide a mechanism by which the BIOS can track the processor. Described herein are techniques that allow the BIOS to track a processor and detect a swap without violating privacy/security requirements.

  • Publication number: 20110140762
Abstract: Nitrogen-doped MgO insulating layers exhibit voltage controlled resistance states, e.g., a high resistance and a low resistance state. Patterned nano-devices on the 100 nm scale show highly reproducible switching characteristics. The voltage levels at which such devices are switched between the two resistance levels can be systematically lowered by increasing the nitrogen concentration. Similarly, the resistance of the high resistance state can be varied by varying the nitrogen concentration, and decreases by orders of magnitude by varying the nitrogen concentrations by a few percent. On the other hand, the resistance of the low resistance state is nearly insensitive to the nitrogen doping level. The resistance of single Mg50O50-xNx layer devices can be varied over a wide range by limiting the current that can be passed during the SET process. Associated data storage devices can be constructed.
