  • Publication number: 20230167629
Abstract: A method for preventing prime mover stall for a work machine including a hydraulic system having a plurality of control valves served by a hydraulic pump. The method can include determining an actual required flow rate value for the plurality control valves and a total maximum flow rate to the plurality of control valves that will enable the prime mover to operate without stalling. The method can also include operating the plurality of control valves such that the combined total flow of the plurality control valves is at or below the total maximum flow rate such that the pump operates at a condition below which prime mover stall will occur. The method can also include setting a flow sharing allocated specific criteria in which the flow reduction takes place during a flow saturation condition for each of the plurality of control valves such that the total sum of the flow rates (calculated based on the criteria) is equal to or less than the total maximum flow rate.

  • Patent number: 11657037
Abstract: Techniques related to query execution against an in-memory standby database are disclosed. A first database includes PF data stored on persistent storage in a persistent format. The first database is accessible to a first database server that converts the PF data to a mirror format to produce MF data that is stored within volatile memory. The first database server receives, from a second database server, one or more change records indicating one or more transactions performed against a second database. The one or more change records are applied to the PF data, and a reference timestamp is advanced from a first to a second timestamp. The first database server invalidates any MF data that is changed by a subset of the one or more transactions that committed between the first and second timestamps.

  • Patent number: 11652727
Abstract: Techniques are described in which a centralized controller, such as a software defined networking (SDN) controller, constructs a service chain that includes a physical network function (PNF) between a bare metal server (BMS) and a virtual execution element (e.g., virtual machine or container), or in some instances a remote BMS, or vice-versa. In accordance with the techniques disclosed herein, the controller may construct an inter-network service chain that includes PNFs, or a combination of PNFs and virtualized network functions (VNFs). The controller may construct an inter-network service chain to steer traffic between a BMS and a virtual execution element or remote BMS through an inter-network service chain using Virtual Extensible Local Area Network (VXLAN) as an underlying transport technology through the service chain.

  • Publication number: 20230145520
Abstract: Techniques described herein allow a standby DBMS to maintain consistency of results for transactions that include redirected DML commands without requiring the standby DBMS to delay execution of queries that do not require changed objects. Specifically, a standby session records DML target object (DTO) record with information regarding DML-changed objects and transaction information from the primary DBMS. Using DTO records, the standby DBMS ensures that results of any additional queries include changes made by the redirected DML commands without delaying execution of queries that do not access changed objects. If a target object in a standby query is in a DTO record, then query execution is delayed until the standby database is updated to the timestamp indicated in the DTO record. Thus, the delayed query has access to changes made by the DML command. Otherwise, the query is immediately executed without waiting for the standby database synchronization.
