  • Publication number: 20050168284
Abstract: An operational amplifier comprises: differential input stages to which differential signals can be inputted with full operating range; current source circuits coupled to determine current values of the differential input stages, phase inverter circuits which are provided between transistors of an output stage circuit and the current source circuits; a driver stage circuit and the output stage circuit. The phase inverter circuits control currents of the current source circuits depending on the output signal potential level. By using this structure, it becomes possible to realize a high slew rate throughout the full operating range.

  • Publication number: 20050001238
Abstract: A bipolar transistor is provided in which both the base resistance and the base-collector capacitance are reduced and which is capable of operating at a high cutoff frequency. The semiconductor device is structured so that the emitter and extrinsic base are separated from each other by an insulator sidewall and the bottom faces of the insulator sidewall, and the emitter are approximately on the same plane. The extrinsic base electrode and the collector region are separated from each other by an insulator.

  • Publication number: 20040262715
Abstract: A bipolar semiconductor device including a collector layer covered at a portion of an outer periphery thereof with an insulating film and having a shape extending in an upper direction and a horizontal direction, with a gap being formed between the collector layer and the insulating film, and further including a base layer and an emitter layer disposed over the collector layer, and a manufacturing method of the semiconductor device. Since the collector layer has a shape extending in a portion thereof in the upward direction and the horizontal direction, an external collector region can be deleted, and both the parasitic capacitance and the collector capacitance in the intrinsic portion attributable to the collector can be decreased and, accordingly, a bipolar transistor capable of high speed operation at a reduced consumption power can be constituted.

  • Publication number: 20040207434
Abstract: In a driver, a voltage-follower-type operational amplifier receives current input data to generate an output signal. A transient state detecting circuit detects a transient state in the current input data to generate a first pulse signal when the current input data is increased and generate a second pulse signal when the current input data is decreased. A switch circuit substantially increases corresponding load currents flowing through the voltage-follower-type operational amplifier in accordance with the first and second pulse signals.

  • Patent number: 6683390
Abstract: An electronic equipment for vehicle use which can be properly protected from theft is provided. When an eject key is pressed down, a process controller operates a panel drive part to rotate an operation panel into the horizontal position (step S12). When the process controller determines that no CD is housed (step S13), it determines whether the removal of the operation panel has been detected (step S16). When the removal of the operation panel has been detected, the process controller rotates panel holder into the front-face position (step S17). When the process controller determines at step S13 that any CD has been housed, it ejects the housed CD and starts a timekeeping operation (step S18). When the process controller determines that a predetermined time has elapsed (step S21), it rotates the panel holder into the back-face position (step S22).

  • Patent number: 5886684
Abstract: A micromanipulator system has a stepper motor driven at a microstep, and having a stepping angle which is subdivided in units of a predetermined reference subdivision. A micromanipulator moves an instrument by the stepper motor, and an input device inputs either a moving speed of the fine instrument or a moving position thereof. A present position calculating device calculates a present position of the stepper motor in a virtual subdivision unit which is obtained by subdividing the reference subdivision unit to a preselected subdivision number. A speed calculating device calculates a drive speed of the stepper motor based either on the moving speed or the moving position, which are entered from the input device. An output pulse setting device determines a target output pulse, and an energizing signal outputting device energizes the stepper motor in response to the target output pulse.

  • Patent number: 5587062
Abstract: An apparatus for collecting samples by gel electrophoresis has a base table, a cutting tool or an extractor disposed above the base table, a moving mechanism, a pattern detector and a control device. The base table is for placing thereon a gel in the form of a slab with one of its sandwiching support plates removed therefrom in such a way that the gel is exposed in the upward direction. The cutter is for cutting out a specified portion of the gel, and the extractor is for extracting a specified migration band in such a specified portion of the gel by electrophoresis. The moving mechanism is for moving the cutter, or the extractor, three-dimensionally. The pattern detector is for optically detecting migration patterns in the gel on the base table so as to enable the user to determine which part of the gel or which migration band thereon is of interest.

  • Patent number: 5537389
Abstract: Scratches on the recording disk caused by sliding of a disk cartridge shutter is prevented by slidably inserting first and second shutters between a tray and a case on the opposite side to a recording disk accommodating portion of the tray. The first shutter simultaneously opens and closes a case side driving shaft insert hole, a case side head insert hole, a tray side driving shaft insert hole, and a tray side head insert hole. The second shutter opens and closes a terminal hole. The second shutter is opened independently of the first shutter and is held in a position so that the case side driving shaft insert hole, the case side head insert hole, the tray side driving shaft insert hole, and the tray side head insert hole are not closed. Closing the first shutter, however, causes the second shutter to also close.

  • Patent number: 5456880
Abstract: A micromanipulator system includes a micropipet, a positive gas-pressure supply line to the micropipet, a negative gas-pressure supply line further in communication with the micropipet, and a micromanipulator for tri-dimensionally moving the micropipet. When a command for supplying either positive or negative gas pressure is issued, a controller enables either line according to a given sequence. The micromanipulator thus manipulates a small particle via the positive/negative pressure supplying and the three-dimensionnal movement or tile micropipet.
