  • Patent number: 4882669
Abstract: There is a control apparatus using a plurality of microcomputers for controlling an apparatus. This control apparatus comprises a first microcomputer for controlling loads and a second microcomputer, wherein the first microcomputer transmits predetermined information to the second mircocomputer and discriminates the reply data which is send therefrom. When they coincide, the first microcomputer executes a predetermined control operation. When the second microcomputer detects an error in the information transmitted from the first microcomputer, the second microcomputer allows the first microcomputer to stop the control of the loads, thereby realizing the safe control of the loads. On the other hand, predetermined priorities may be given to the microcomputers. When the microcomputer having a high priority is reset, all of the lower significant microcomputers are reset, thereby minimizing a damage when abnormality occurs.

  • Patent number: 4785961
Abstract: In a cap with valve, an annular projection is formed at an inner circumference of a fluid flow path of a cap body to be installed at an opening portion of a container. A valve body is an annular body and provided with an inner circumferential lip element projecting upward at inner circumferential edge and an outer circumferential lip element projecting downward at outer circumferential edge, and the outer circumferential lip element abuts on the annular projection of the cap body. A first disk-shaped support plate is arranged at upper side of the valve body and provided with a support member supporting the upper surface side of the outer circumferential lip element. The first support plate is biased downward by a first spring means from upper side. A second support plate is arranged at lower side of the valve body and provided with a support member supporting the lower surface side of the inner circumferential lip element and with a fluid flowing hole at the center.

  • Patent number: 4684239
Abstract: A copying machine in which image forming conditions such as developing bias voltage is automatically regulated in response to the detected image density of the original document and to the sensitivity characteristics of the photosensitive drum, in order to obtain an optimum copy image regardless of the change in the sensitivity of photosensitive drum.

  • Patent number: 4440487
Abstract: A copying apparatus has an original size sensing switch for sensing the size of an original, a memory for storing cassette size information, a comparator for comparing the original size information output by the original size sensing switch with the cassette size information read out from the memory, and a microcomputer for controlling the copying operation of the apparatus in accordance with a comparison output from the comparator. The copying operation may be performed in accordance with the size of the original fed to the exposure position. The automatic copying operation in accordance with the sensed original size may be released as needed for manual control.

  • Patent number: 4311225
Abstract: A door member such as a garage door is driven by a motor through a roller chain having a finite length to travel in the garage opening and closing directions. The roller chain is driven by a single drive sprocket driven by the motor to make its reciprocating movement along the same path while making rolling engagement at its roller portion with a guide rail constructed to support the roller portion of the roller chain from the opposite sides. A trolley connected to the door member by an arm is releasably coupled to the roller chain and is also guided along the guide rail while making sliding engagement therewith. A mechanism for detecting abutment of the door member with an obstruction present on the traveling path is provided to detect the above situation when a physical force is imparted to the roller chain due to the abutment. The opening and closing movement of the door member, stopping of rotation of the motor and detection of the presence of an obstruction are electrically controlled.
