  • Publication number: 20240098549
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure allow for improving E2E mesh throughput by applying transmission (TX) biasing on the Wi-Fi mesh backhaul. Aspects of the disclosure are directed to solutions for reducing traffic load in Wi-Fi mesh networks by applying TX biasing on the Wi-Fi mesh backhaul. Certain aspects are directed to selectively transmitting or preventing transmission of data over the first backhaul link to the first MLD based at least in part on a fronthaul airtime utilization, a first backhaul airtime utilization, or a second backhaul airtime utilization. Doing so allows a root access point or a network controller to apply TX biasing between multi-link operation links towards each repeater so that traffic load on a backhaul-link would not overly occupy the front-haul link because of common channel use by selectively transmitting or preventing transmission of data on the backhaul links.

  • Publication number: 20240095213
Abstract: Privilege escalation in a cloud platform comprises provisioning to a client access privileges to the database entities that are covered by a license. A base escalation matrix is provisioned to the client with additional access privileges not covered by the license. An API request is received and the requested CRUD operation is attempted on a first database entity. Responsive to the requested CRUD operation initially failing because the client does not have required access privileges activation of an exception signaling failure of the requested CRUD operation is detected and used as a trigger to fetch the base escalation matrix. The access privileges of the client are escalated by applying the additional access privileges from the base escalation matrix to a user context of the current API query request, and repeating the requested CRUD operation. The escalated access privileges are then removed.

  • Patent number: 11934665
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media for snapshotting ephemeral and/or volatile storage systems are provided. These techniques may include synchronizing that state of the ephemeral storage system to a cloud-based storage system and capturing a cloud snapshot of the cloud-based storage system. To reduce the time to capture a cloud snapshot, techniques disclosed herein include obtaining sets of pending data changes to the ephemeral storage system that have not been synchronized to the cloud-based storage system. When the pending data changes satisfy a threshold metric, the pending data changes may then be synchronized to the ephemeral storage system on a rolling basis.

  • Publication number: 20240088218
Abstract: Techniques are provided herein to form an integrated circuit having a grating pattern of gate cut structures such that a gate cut structure extends between the gate layers of adjacent semiconductor devices and between the source or drain regions (e.g., epitaxial regions) of the adjacent semiconductor devices. In an example, neighboring semiconductor devices each include a semiconductor region extending between a source region and a drain region, and a gate structure extending over the semiconductor regions of the neighboring semiconductor devices. In some such examples, a gate cut structure is present between each pair of neighboring semiconductor devices thus interrupting the gate structure and isolating the gate electrode of one semiconductor device from the gate electrode of the other semiconductor device. The gate cut structure further extends to separate the source or drain regions of the neighboring semiconductor devices.

  • Patent number: 11853771
Abstract: A branded fleet server system includes a pre-assembled third-party computer system integrated into a chassis of the branded fleet server system. The pre-assembled third-party computer system is configured to execute proprietary software that is only licensed for use on branded hardware. A virtualization offloading component is included in the server chassis of the branded fleet server along with the pre-assembled third-party computer system. The virtualization offloading component acts as a bridge between the pre-assembled third-party computer system and a virtualized computing service. As such, the virtualization offloading component manages communications, security, metadata, etc. to allow the pre-assembled computer system to function as one of a fleet of virtualization hosts of the virtualized computing service.

  • Patent number: 11803467
Abstract: An apparatus including a plurality of page circuits and a common request circuit. The page circuits may each be implemented within a respective memory bank controller of a memory bank set and store an address and determine a page hit status. The common request circuit may be implemented within the memory bank set and store client requests and issue a command corresponding to the client requests in response to the page hit status and an order of storage of the client requests. The page circuits may comprise half a storage depth of the common request circuit. The common request circuit may be shared between each of the memory bank controllers of the memory bank set. The memory bank controllers may control access to a random access memory. The address, the client requests and the page hit status may enable buffering to provide a preview of upcoming client requests.

  • Patent number: 11368407
Abstract: Techniques for failover management using availability groups are described. According to some embodiments, customers can define one or more availability groups within their infrastructure. Each availability group may be associated with one or more rules which describe how the availability group should fail over. The availability group definition may define the resources included in the availability group, a target region to fail over to, and capacity reservations for the availability group in the target region. In some embodiments, the definition may also include a replication frequency for storage resources which defines how often data is backed up. Once a customer as created an availability group the customer is then able to either create resources in that availability group or associate already existing resources with the availability group. An availability group management service can ensure that data, capacity reservations and network infrastructure are defined and/or replicated to the target location.
