  • Publication number: 20170246313
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved process of conjugation to obtain synthetic oligosaccharide-protein (OS-PR) conjugates. The process of synthetic OS-PR conjugation is a rapid process providing oligosaccharide-protein conjugates which are highly immunogenic and elicit specific and homogenous immune responses. The synthetic oligosaccharide comprising of four to eight repeating units of respective monomers and at least one in-built terminal amino linker, said synthetic polysaccharide mimics natural polysaccharide obtained from gram negative bacteria such as Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A, C, Y, W, X and Haemophilus influenzae and carrier protein is obtained from gram positive bacteria such as Clostridium tetani (tetanus toxoid) or Corynebacterium diphtheriae (CRM197) or their recombinant versions. The conjugation chemistry of the said oligosaccharide-protein conjugate of the present invention is thio-ether linkage. The present invention takes complete process time in the range of 14-22 hours.

  • Patent number: 9736046
Abstract: A system and method are provided to model a network path with performance characterization for individual path segments of the network path and correlate the faults and performance issues to identify the factors that are causing network path performance degradation. The system described herein provides for codebook correlation technology to identify the root cause of network path performance degradation. In an embodiment, an algorithm is provided to model the network path with performance characterization and analysis. The performance of a network path is determined by performance characteristics of individual hops along the network path. The path performance is then characterized with weighted attributes indicative of performance over individual hops along the network path. The individual hops along the network path are modeled with weighted attributes indicative of performance. The performance symptoms may be aggregated to determine path performance using codebook correlation to perform a causal analysis.

  • Publication number: 20170220258
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or computing devices are provided for resilient replication of storage operations. For example, a first storage controller may host first storage having a replication relationship with second storage hosted by a second storage controller. To improve resiliency against transient network issues of a network between the storage controllers, the first storage controller may implement a queue and retry mechanism to retry replication operations not acknowledge back by the second storage controller within a threshold time. The second storage controller may maintain a cumulative sequence number of a latest replication operation performed in order, an operation response map of replication operations performed out of order, and an operation finder map identifying currently implemented replication operations, which may be used to process incoming replication operations. Single write semantics, write order consistency, and reduction of write amplification may be provided.

  • Patent number: 9717528
Abstract: An external fixation system includes top and bottom fixation plates that may be connected to fragments of a bone. At least one y-shaped strut attaches the two fixation plates. Each y-shaped strut has first, second and third telescopic struts coupled at a connector joint. The first strut member is coupled to the top fixation plate and the second and third strut members are coupled to the bottom fixation plate. Each strut member may include a joint and may also include an actuation unit connecting the particular strut member to the top or bottom fixation plate. Rotation of a head portion of the actuation unit causes rotation of a threaded rod, causing adjustment in the length of the respective strut member. As the lengths of the strut members change, the joints may reposition, leading to the top fixation plate becoming repositioned with respect to the bottom fixation plate.

  • Publication number: 20170206141
Abstract: An illustrative approach to managing snapshots streamlines how and when snapshots are generated in a storage management system, such that fewer snapshots may be generated without diminishing the scope of data protection. A novel unified-snapshot storage policy may govern snapshots for any number of subclients. A unified-snapshot job based on the unified-snapshot storage policy enables the illustrative storage management system to automatically discover relevant components and generate at most one snapshot per target logical unit number (“LUN”) in a storage array. Each snapshot may comprise the data of any number of subclients and/or clients in the storage management system. Accordingly, one unified-snapshot job may yield a minimum but sufficient number of snapshots comprising data of all subclients associated with the governing unified-snapshot storage policy. An enhanced storage manager may manage the unified-snapshot jobs.

  • Publication number: 20170199699
Abstract: A system according to certain embodiments associates a signature value corresponding to a data block with one or more data blocks and a reference to the data block to form a signature/data word corresponding to the data block. The system further logically organizes the signature/data words into a plurality of files each comprising at least one signature/data word such that the signature values are embedded in the respective file. The system according to certain embodiments reads a previously stored signature value corresponding to a respective data block for sending from a backup storage system having at least one memory device to a secondary storage system.
