  • Patent number: 9643561
Abstract: An air curtain assembly includes a side air curtain having a top edge and being inflatable from an uninflated position to an inflated position. In the uninflated position, the side air curtain extends along a longitudinal axis. A first flap is attached to the top edge and an elongated flap is attached to the first flap. The elongated flap extends from the first flap at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis. As such, as the air curtain inflates from the uninflated position to the inflated position, the elongated flap is disposed between the side air curtain and a side roof rail of the vehicle to limit or prevent abrasion of the side air curtain as the side air curtain is inflated.

  • Patent number: 9560405
Abstract: The subject disclosure is directed towards a background transfer service that provides platform-level support for third party applications to queue data transfers to run in the background, including when the application is not running in the foreground. Applications may thus perform downloading and uploading tasks in the background; however the background transfer service manages the data transfer requests so as to limit each background application's ability to interfere with foreground application operations, that is, by controlling resource usage according to one or more policies.

  • Patent number: 9467643
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes enabling a user of event recorder playback software to select a past time segment of recorded locomotive event data. The method includes presenting recorded video data recorded by one or more cameras on the locomotive during the past time segment, presenting recorded GPS map data indicative of the geographical position of the locomotive during the past time segment, and presenting recorded locomotive operational data recorded during the past time segment. The presentations of recorded video data, recorded GPS map data, and recorded locomotive operational data are synchronized based on a common attribute associated with all of the recorded data. Implementation of a select animation process to one or more of the presentations of recorded data results in the simultaneous implementation of the same select animation process to another of the presentations of recorded data.
