  • Patent number: 12160257
Abstract: Distributed radio frequency (RF) communication systems for automotive are disclosed herein. In certain embodiments, an RF communication system for an automobile includes an RF module located close to an antenna to satisfy a specified output power with small insertion loss. Additionally, the baseband processor is placed remotely from the RF module in a different area of the automobile to provide a lower temperature environment. Additionally, the RF module communicates with the baseband processor in a digital format eliminating the need for higher cost cabling (for instance, due to higher noise immunity arising from using digital signaling) and using digital transfer cabling, which can already be present in the automobile for other purposes. The RF module can include an RF front-end (RFFE) and a transceiver used for providing frequency conversion, for instance, between RF and baseband.

  • Publication number: 20240395399
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for animal health monitoring. Load data can be obtained from an animal monitoring device including three or more load sensors associated with a platform carrying contained litter thereabove, wherein individual load sensors of the three or more load sensors are separated from one another and receive pressure input from the platform independent of one another, wherein the three or more load sensors individually sample loads at from 2.5 Hz to 110 Hz. An animal behavior property associated with the animal can be recognized if it is determined based on load data that the interaction with the contained litter was due to the animal interaction with the contained litter. The animal behavior property can be classified into an animal classified event using a machine learning classifier.

  • Patent number: 12154115
Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for automatically detecting discrepancy between preset data and input data are provided. A processor implements a platform and language agnostic smart data discrepancy detection module that automatically detects discrepancy between preset data and input data (i.e., larger than the preset data) during data processing of a commercial transaction involving a gratuity, particularly when a credit card payment is being made. The processor also implements an optimized processes of conducting a commercial transaction that includes a gratuity data based on user preferences that are obtainable from an application during execution thereof, and automatically alerts the user when data discrepancy is detected, i.e., when the gratuity data is more than preset gratuity data set by the user on the application.

  • Publication number: 20240378512
Abstract: A computer-implemented method can facilitate delivery of targeted content to user devices in situations in which historic tracking data (e.g., cookie data) is generally unavailable and/or unreliable. A p-dimensional embedding of websites can be generated based on a group of user devices for whom tracking data is available. Conversion event data that indicates indicating whether that audience member performed a conversion action can be received. A machine learning model can be trained using the conversion event data and the positions of websites appearing in the conversion event data within the p-dimensional embedding to predict a likelihood of conversion and/or a type of content to provide given a position in the p-dimensional embedding. When an indication that a user device is accessing a website is received, a position of that website in the p-dimensional embedding can be determined and targeted content can be delivered to the user device.

  • Publication number: 20240378759
Abstract: In computer graphics, texture refers to a type of surface, including the material characteristics, that can be applied to an object in an image. A texture may be defined using numerous parameters, such as color(s), roughness, glossiness, etc. In some implementations, a texture may be represented as an image that can be placed on a three-dimensional (3D) model of an object to give surface details to the 3D object. To reduce a size of textures (e.g. for storage and transmission), textures in a texture set may be compressed together. The present disclosure provides for decompression of at least a portion of a single texture representation of a set of textures into at least a portion of a plurality of textures included in the set of textures.

  • Patent number: 12140291
Abstract: Configurations for a photonics assembly design and methods for mitigating coherent noise thereof are disclosed. The photonics assembly may include a set of light sources, an optical subsystem that may include a set of optical elements, and a diffusing element. The light emitted by the set of light sources may be different wavelengths and the light may be de-cohered by a phase shifter before being received by the set of optical elements. The diffusing element may be moveable and may be capable of repeating the same positions or set of positions for each beam of light emitted by the set of light sources. By combining the coherent noise mitigation techniques of the moveable diffusing element and the de-cohered light, the photonics system may provide an illumination profile with a specific spatial profile and angular profile on the sample that allows reliable measurement of the sample and coherent noise mitigation.

  • Publication number: 20240370076
Abstract: In-flight operations in an inbound data path from a source memory to a convolution hardware circuit increase computational throughput when performing convolution calculations, such as pooling and element-wise operations. Various operations may be performed in-line within an outbound data path to a target memory. Advantageously, this drastically reduces extraneous memory access and associated read-write operations, thereby, significantly reducing overall power consumption in a computing system.

  • Patent number: 12137326
Abstract: An external portion of an auditory prosthesis includes an external magnet that interacts with an implantable magnet to hold the external portion against the skin. Magnetic force generated by the stray field of these magnets can disturb the operation of a vibrating element of the auditory prosthesis. The technologies described herein utilize additional magnets disposed within portions of the auditory prosthesis to redirect the magnetic flux, which allows the vibrating element to be disposed more closely to the magnets, reducing the overall height profile of the prosthesis.
