  • Patent number: 11686839
Abstract: The present invention includes systems and methods for a continuous-wave (CW) radar system for detecting, geolocating, identifying, discriminating between, and mapping ferrous and non-ferrous metals in brackish and saltwater environments. The radar system (e.g., the CW radar system) generates multiple extremely low frequency (ELF) electromagnetic waves simultaneously and uses said waves to detect, locate, and classify objects of interest. These objects include all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as changing material boundary layers (e.g., soil to water, sand to mud, rock to organic materials, water to air, etc.). The radar system (e.g., the CW radar system) is operable to detect objects of interest in near real time.

  • Patent number: 11687292
Abstract: Method and apparatus for managing data in a cloud computing environment. In accordance with some embodiments, data updates are received to a multi-tier memory structure across a cloud network and stored as working data in an upper rewritable non-volatile memory tier of the memory structure. The working data are periodically logged to a lower non-volatile memory tier in the memory structure while a current version of the working data remain in the upper memory tier. The upper and lower memory tiers each are formed of rewritable memory cells having different constructions and storage attributes.

  • Publication number: 20230198320
Abstract: A stator is disclosed. The stator has a stator core that has stator poles protruding in a radial direction and a stator. The stator core has an axial groove formed on its outer surface along a longitudinal axis that is used to direct a cooling fluid from a first end of the stator core towards a second end of the stator core that is opposite the first end. Further, the stator core has an annulus groove formed on its outer surface, with the annulus groove in fluid communication with the axial groove. The annulus groove receives the cooling fluid from the axial groove, and is located between the first end and the second end of the stator core.

  • Publication number: 20230114125
Abstract: An antenna assembly for a wireless apparatus (such as a wireless microphone apparatus) comprises two inverted-F antennas. The antenna assembly may be formed from a single stamped sheet metal piece to facilitate manufacturing, which may allow the relative orientation of the two antennas to be reliably maintained. Moreover, manufacturing of the wireless apparatus may be simplified since one antenna assembly rather than two separate antennas may be connected to a printed circuit board of the apparatus. The two inverted-F antennas of the antenna assembly may have a common grounding element that joins the two inverted-F antennas and connects the two antennas to a ground plane of a printed circuit board, where the grounding element of the antenna assembly may be shaped to accommodate a corner of the printed circuit board that the antenna assembly is mounted to.

  • Patent number: 11595268
Abstract: In one embodiment, a service that monitors a network detects a plurality of anomalies in the network. The service uses data regarding the detected anomalies as input to one or more machine learning models. The service maps, using a conceptual space, outputs of the one or more machine learning models to symbols. The service applies a symbolic reasoning engine to the symbols, to rank the anomalies. The service sends an alert for a particular one of the detected anomalies to a user interface, based on its corresponding rank.
