  • Patent number: 11403593
Abstract: Subject matter described herein is related to assigning a healthcare clinician to provide care to a patient. This disclosure describes tracking the location of a healthcare clinician. Based on the tracking, a resource-consumption score for a patient is generated. The resource-consumption score is used to predict whether a clinician has the capacity to be assigned to the patient. The clinician is assigned to patients based on predicted capacity.

  • Publication number: 20220231928
Abstract: A digitized Intellectual Capital (IC) system obtains code modules configured to detect one or more issues in a computing system. The IC system selects from the code modules to generate a first set of code modules based on a corresponding value metric. The corresponding value metric for each code module in the first set of code modules is higher than a predetermined threshold. The IC system also samples from the remainder of the code modules unselected for the first set of code modules to generate a second set of code modules. The IC system runs the first set of code modules and the second set of code modules to detect the one or more issues and updates the corresponding value metric for at least one code module.

  • Patent number: 11393810
Abstract: An apparatus including an array of field-effect transistors, each field-effect transistor including a channel, source and drain electrodes, and a gate electrode configured to enable the flow of electrical current to be varied, the gate electrode separated from the channel by a dielectric material configured to inhibit a flow of electrical current between the channel and gate electrode, wherein the gate electrode of each field-effect transistor is connected in parallel to the gate electrodes of the other field-effect transistors in the array, and wherein a respective two-terminal current-limiting component is coupled to each gate electrode such that, in the event that a defect in the dielectric material of a particular field-effect transistor allows a leakage current to flow between the channel and gate electrode of that field-effect transistor, the respective two-terminal current-limiting component limits the magnitude of the leakage current.

  • Patent number: 11392374
Abstract: A configuration package receives user-generated input that configures a decision service to generate decision data. The configuration package includes artifacts and the user-generated input selects the artifacts from an artifact library in a configuration database. A configured decision service is generated, where the generating includes receiving, by a decision service factory, the configuration package. Also, the decision service factory receives a decision template including configurable decision elements and non-configurable decision elements. Further, the decision service factory receives a user configuration specifying a parameter in the corresponding artifact. The artifact from the configuration package, the user configuration and the decision template are combined to generate the configured decision service. The configured decision service receives, from a client computer, input for each of the configurable decision elements.

  • Publication number: 20220191014
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention involve using biometric templates to wirelessly authenticate individuals. In one embodiment, a mobile device may generate a first biometric template and a first public value from a first biometric sample of a user and generate a first cryptographic key by passing the first biometric template to a fuzzy extractors generate function. An access device may generate a second biometric template from a second biometric sample of the user, generate a second secret cryptographic key by passing the second biometric template and the first public value to the fuzzy extractors reproduce function, encrypt the second biometric template with the second secret cryptographic key, and broadcast the encrypted template to a plurality of nearby mobile devices including the mobile device. If the mobile device is able to decrypt the encrypted template with the first cryptographic key, the access device can associate the user with the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11353576
Abstract: The present invention includes systems and methods for a continuous-wave (CW) radar system for detecting, geolocating, identifying, discriminating between, and mapping ferrous and non-ferrous metals in brackish and saltwater environments. The CW radar system generates multiple extremely low frequency (ELF) electromagnetic waves simultaneously and uses said waves to detect, locate, and classify objects of interest. These objects include all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as changing material boundary layers (e.g., soil to water, sand to mud, rock to organic materials, water to air, etc.). The CW radar system is operable to detect objects of interest in near real time.

  • Publication number: 20220169397
Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes receiving flight data related to an aircraft that includes an engine installed therein. The flight data includes values of an engine parameter. The method also includes determining values of a measured installation delta for the engine based, at least in part, on the flight data. The method also includes determining values of a measured power parameter for the engine based, at least in part, on the flight data. The method also includes generating a mathematical model of a plurality of installation deltas for the engine as a function of the engine parameter, where the plurality of installation deltas include the measured installation delta and an unmeasured installation delta. The method also includes validating the mathematical model based, at least in part, on the values of the measured installation delta. The method also includes generating a performance profile of the engine.

  • Publication number: 20220164799
Abstract: A server computing device receives authentication request messages formatted according to a first message format from a party via a computing device of a user involved in a transaction, translates the messages into modified authentication request messages formatted according to a second message format, and transmits the modified authentication request messages to an authorization computer. The server computing device may augment the modified authentication request messages by including data gathered from the received authentication request messages describing the user, user's computing device, and/or network path between the server computing device and user's computing device, as well as risk scores generated based upon the received authentication request message.

  • Patent number: 11331155
Abstract: An end effector for a surgical tool includes a first jaw that defines an aperture, a second jaw rotatably coupled to the first jaw, and a spacer pin received within the aperture and protruding from an upper surface of the first jaw. The spacer pin is adjustable within the aperture to define a jaw gap between the first and second jaws when the second jaw is moved to a closed position and engages the spacer pin, and the spacer pin is secured within the aperture to set the jaw gap.

  • Patent number: 11317976
Abstract: An articulable wrist for an end effector includes a first linkage rotatably coupled to a second linkage at a first articulation joint, a flexible member extending at least partially through a central channel cooperatively defined by the first and second linkages, and a first pair of roller supports arranged at the first articulation joint and laterally offset from each other, each roller support extending parallel to a first pivot axis extending through the first articulation joint. A drive cable extends through a first axially-extending conduit defined in the flexible member and through a gap defined between the first pair of roller supports. The drive cable is supported at the first articulation joint by the first pair of roller supports during articulation and the first pair of roller supports prevents a centerline of the drive cable from moving past the first pivot axis during actuation of the end effector.

  • Publication number: 20220131280
Abstract: A dual band antenna that allows the independent optimization of each frequency band by adjusting the sizes of the antenna elements. For example, an antenna may have two different drivers, one for the high-frequency and one for the low frequency. By using elements orthogonally connected to the low frequency driver, the low frequency driver can function as both a reflector to the high frequency drivers and the low frequency driver without affecting the antenna's performance in the high frequency. The antenna may also have parasitic elements. For example, parasitic directors parallel to the high frequency band driver can be configured to improve performance in the high frequency band. Pairs of additional parasitic directors can be orthogonally connected these directors. These pairs can be adjusted in size to improve performance in the low frequency band with minimal impact on performance in the high frequency band.
