  • Patent number: 6290668
Abstract: This invention provides a light delivery catheter having a proximal shaft with two lumens and a distal shaft connected to the proximal shaft, which distal shaft has only a single lumen. A guidewire and a light guide are received in the first and second lumens resectively, of the proximal shaft, either of which may be extended into the single lumen of the distal shaft, the distal shaft being sufficiently flexible to facilitate movement of the catheter through tortuous paths. A hub is provided having ports through which appropriate fluids may be applied to the lumens. When used to remove a blood clot in a blood vessel of the brain or other part of the body, the guidewire is extended through the single lumen in the distal shaft and is utilized to guide the catheter adjacent the clot, at least one guidewire/light guide exchange being performed to ablate the clot.

  • Patent number: 6269403
Abstract: In a computer environment, a browser and publisher capable of exchanging multimedia objects provided in a new storage and delivery data format that increases performance and improves the user experience by reducing the transactions needed to retrieve a set of n objects from n to 1. The object data is interleaved with data definition entries identifying respective object data into a data format comprising a single stream for storage and/or delivery. The data format eliminates the need for multiple, asynchronous transactions thus reducing latency in the data transfer process. Moreover, the data format allows for optimization of how the object data is prioritized and interleaved to achieve desired performance objectives upon delivery of the multimedia objects for display using the browser.

  • Patent number: 6225826
Abstract: In some embodiments, the invention includes a domino logic gate circuit having a domino state and a single ended domino compatible dual function generator. The domino state receives a domino stage input signal and provides a single ended intermediate signal as a function of the domino stage input signal, the intermediate signal having a state. The generator receives the intermediate signal and provides an out signal and an out* signal each having a state, wherein the out and out* signals have the same state during a precharge phase and have complementary states during an evaluate phase as a function of the state of the intermediate signal. In other embodiments, the invention includes domino logic gate circuit having a combined domino stage and dual function generator. The domino stage is to receive a domino stage input signal.
