  • Patent number: 11584776
Abstract: Methods and systems for control of solid phase peptide synthesis are generally described. Control of solid phase peptide synthesis involves the use of feedback from one or more reactions and/or processes (e.g., reagent removal) taking place in the solid phase peptide synthesis system. In some embodiments, a detector may detect one or more fluids flowing across a detection zone of a solid phase peptide synthesis system and one or more signals may be generated corresponding to the fluid(s). For instance, an electromagnetic radiation detector positioned downstream of a reactor may detect a fluid exiting the reactor after a deprotection reactor and produce a signal(s). In some embodiments, based at least in part on information derived from the signal(s), a parameter of the system may be modulated prior to and/or during one or more subsequent reactions and/or processes taking place in the solid phase peptide synthesis system.

  • Patent number: 11578810
Abstract: A valve control is configured for use with control valves and other flow controls. The valve control leverages a simplified structure to avoid problems with manufacture and reduce costs. This structure includes a support unit that compresses parts of a valve housing together. Inside of the valve housing, the structure incorporates diaphragms that cause a pair of balanced valves to move in response to changes in pressure of fluid in a conduit. For industrial application, the valve control finds use to maintain pressure of natural gas in pipelines downstream from a control valve.

Abstract: A method of base calling using at least two base callers is disclosed. The method includes executing at least a first base caller and a second base caller on sensor data generated for sensing cycles in a series of sensing cycles; generating, by the first base caller, first classification information associated with the sensor data, based on executing the first base caller on the sensor data; and generating, by the second base caller, second classification information associated with the sensor data, based on executing the second base caller on the sensor data. In an example, based on the first classification information and the second classification information, a final classification information is generated, where the final classification information includes one or more base calls for the sensor data.

  • Patent number: 11567694
Abstract: A system, method, and machine-readable storage medium for determining an amount of unique data in a distributed storage system are provided. In some embodiments, a combined efficiency set for a first data set stored in the distributed storage system, such as at a volume, may be generated. The first data set may include a first subset of data and a second subset of data in the distributed storage system. Additionally, a set of efficiency sets for the first subset of data may be generated. A set difference based on the combined efficiency set and the set of efficiency sets may be computed. An amount of memory used for storing unique data of the second subset of data may be estimated based on the set difference. The unique data may be present in the second subset of data but absent from the first subset of data.

Abstract: Fuel nozzle assemblies are provided. For example, a fuel nozzle assembly for a combustor system comprises a fuel nozzle having a pilot swirler and an outlet defined in an outlet end, as well as a main mixer attached to the outlet end and extending about the outlet. A total combustor airflow through the combustor system comprises a pilot swirler airflow that is greater than about 14% and a main mixer airflow that is less than about 50% of the total combustor airflow. In further embodiments, the fuel nozzle also comprises main and pilot fuel injectors that each are configured to receive a portion of a fuel flow to the fuel nozzle. The fuel nozzle provides less than about 80% of the fuel flow to the main fuel injector at a high power operating condition of a gas turbine engine in which the fuel nozzle assembly is installed.

  • Patent number: 11550720
Abstract: Entries in a cluster-to-caching agent map table of a data processing network identify one or more caching agents in a caching agent cluster. A snoop filter cache stores coherency information that includes coherency status information and a presence vector, where a bit position in the presence vector is associated with a caching agent cluster in the cluster-to-caching agent map table. In response to a data request, a presence vector in the snoop filter cache is accessed to identify a caching agent cluster and the map table is accessed to identify target caching agents for snoop messages. In order to reduce message traffic, snoop message are sent only to the identified targets.
