  • Publication number: 20110221165
Abstract: The invention relates, inter alia, to a connector bracket for a semitrailer of a semitrailer truck. Said connector bracket comprises a support element which can be swiveled about a bearing and a connector arranged inside the support element, the support element having a casing frame with a section that is complementary to an insertion opening of a fifth wheel. The aim of the invention is to provide a connector bracket or a plug-in coupling which is highly reliable even under adverse external conditions. This aim is achieved, inter alia, by the connector bracket according to the invention, wherein the casing frame can be displaced in relation to the connector by contact with the insertion opening, thereby displacing the connector from a closed standby position to an open coupling position.

  • Publication number: 20110224603
Abstract: A device for detecting at least one flow parameter includes a fluidic series connection of a first flow restriction, a first measurement area, a second flow restriction, and a second measurement area. A first sensor is provided for detecting a quantitative first measure of a pressure existing in the first measurement area. A second sensor is provided for detecting a quantitative second measure of a pressure existing in the second measurement area. An evaluator is provided which is configured to determine, while using the measures detected by the first and second sensors, a flow rate of a fluid flowing through the series connection, and/or to determine whether there is an occlusion of the first flow restriction, of the second flow restriction, or of a fluid area adjoining the second measurement area.

  • Publication number: 20110123121
Abstract: The present invention relates to a coding parameter independent method for reduction of blocking artefacts in a compressed image or video signal. For this purpose, the image is analysed in the vicinity of the block boundaries in order to measure the existence and strength of blocking artefacts and to detect image areas. Based on the analysis result map information for each pixel adjacent to a block boundary is generated. The filter mode for each block boundary is adaptively determined dependent on the map information and the image is filtered depending on the chosen filter mode.

  • Publication number: 20110084173
Abstract: A method and a device for providing automatic load alleviation to a high lift surface system, in particular to a landing flap system, of an aircraft when a blockage occurs, wherein in response to a control signal emitted by a control device at least one high lift surface, which is actuated by means of a local mechanical final control element, is brought to a predetermined position by a central drive unit that is connected by way of a rotary shaft arrangement to the local final control element by generating a torque transmitted by the central drive unit to the rotary shaft arrangement. If a signal is registered that indicates that there is a blockage within the high lift surface system, the torque transmitted by the central drive unit to the rotary shaft arrangement is automatically reduced to a predetermined low torque value, and the position of the high lift surface system is fixed.

  • Patent number: 7793966
Abstract: Disclosed is a plug-in coupling system for joining cables between a tractor and a trailer. The invention also relates to the individual components, i.e. the semitrailer coupling and the plug-in connector on which the invention is implemented. The cables between the tractor and the trailer are usually plugged into each other by hand. Automatic systems have not been successful on the market so far. The aim of the invention is therefore to create a plug-in coupling system which allows the supply cables to be connected in a comfortable and operationally safe manner when the trailer is joined to and disconnected from the tractor. Said aim is achieved, among other things, by disposing the socket in a stationary manner below the insertion hole on the semitrailer coupling while arranging the contact points of the plug below the king pin on the plug-in connector.

  • Patent number: 7758059
Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling system for connecting at least one supply line between a towing vehicle and a trailer, the first end of said at least one supply line being attached to the towing vehicle in a fixed manner, and the second end thereof comprising a connector that can be connected to a supply line interface of the trailer. The aim of the invention is to provide a coupling system for the supply lines, by which means a complicated operation between the trailer and the driver's cab of the towing vehicle is avoided. To this end, a coupling system is provided, whereby the supply line interface can be displaced out of a traveling position into an operating position.

  • Patent number: 7631852
Abstract: A normally closed microvalve includes a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, a deflectable closing element, which, in the closed state of the microvalve, is seated on a sealing lip, such that the fluid inlet is fluidically disconnected from the fluid outlet, and in the opened state of the microvalve, is spaced apart from the sealing lip, and a deflectable holding structure which is connected to the closing element such that, between the same, a space exists, which is in fluidic communication to the fluid outlet. An influence of a force onto the holding structure and the closing element in a first direction provides an opening-action to the microvalve, while an influence of a force onto the holding structure and the closing element in a second direction provides a closing-action. The fluid inlet and the closing element are arranged such that a pressure at the fluid inlet exerts a force in the second direction.
