  • Patent number: 7946955
Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus includes a controller. When predetermined conditions are satisfied, the controller executes a neutral control that forcibly places an automatic transmission in a substantially neutral state, the predetermined conditions including the shift position of the automatic transmission being in the drive position. When it is determined that the amount of exhaust matter accumulated in a catalyst provided in an exhaust system of a vehicle has exceeded a first reference value, the controller executes a catalyst heating control that increases the temperature of the catalyst so as to remove the exhaust matter accumulated in the catalyst. When it is determined during the catalyst heating control that the amount of the exhaust matter accumulated in the catalyst has exceeded a second reference value that is larger than the first reference value, the controller prohibits the execution of the neutral control.

  • Publication number: 20100073848
Abstract: In a solid electrolytic capacitor, a path of an electric current flowing from a lower layer to an upper layer of a laminate in cathode portions of respective capacitor elements connected through an electroconductive adhesive layer is opposite to paths of electric currents flowing from a canopy through joints to cathode terminals, thereby achieving reduction in ESL by mutual inductance effect in a simple structure. Since the solid electrolytic capacitor has the structure in which the laminate is surrounded by the canopy and joints, sufficient pressure resistance is ensured for the capacitor elements during resin injection. For this reason, a resin mold to cover the laminate can be formed by transfer molding, which ensures excellent heat resistance and moisture resistance.

  • Publication number: 20100011132
Abstract: N_Port_Name information capable of distinctly identifying a host computer has seen set in a microprocessor 42 of a storage controller 40 prior to start-up of host computers 10, 20, 30; upon startup of the host computers 10, 20, 30, when the storage controller 40 receives a frame issued, then the microprocessor 42 operates to perform comparison for determining whether the N_Port_Name information stored in the frame has been already set in the microprocessor 42 and registered to the N_Port_Name list within a control table maintained. When such comparison results in match, then continue execution of processing based on the frame instruction; if comparison results in failure of match, then reject any request.
