  • Patent number: 6876831
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive belt carried by a driver device, for forming a toner image thereon; an internal transcription belt for transcribing the toner image; and a transcription portion for transcribing the toner image, which is transcribed on the internal transcription belt, onto a recording medium. A transcription side roller is suspended with the internal transcription belt thereon, and disposed on a side of a photosensitive belt side roller. Detectors detect a first cycle of the internal transcription belt, and a second cycle, which starts measurement delaying by ½ cycle of the photosensitive belt side roller from the first cycle measurement start. A controller conducts speed compensation of the photosensitive belt by referring to the first cycle and the second cycle, wherein the internal transcription belt is in contact with the photosensitive belt, so that it is carried following thereafter.

  • Publication number: 20050004587
Abstract: A medical knife has a cutting edge formed along the outer edge of a blade portion, and the thickness of the lower portion located under a boundary acting as a surface including the cutting edge is made thinner than that of an upper portion located on the boundary, or a lower surface is composed of the surface including the cutting edge. The surface of the upper portion on the above surface including the cutting edge is composed of a first slanting surface constituting the cutting edge, a second reflecting surface, and a flat surface composed of a non-reflecting surface as well as the lower portion has a lower slanting surface 10 and a lower flat surface 11 each composed of a reflecting surface. With the above arrangement, the medical knife can reduce the amount of reflected light when an operation such as an ophthalmic operation is executed under a microscope.

  • Patent number: 6788928
Abstract: A cellular phone which is easy to use featuring a sufficient degree of safety preventing unauthorized use by conducting a minimum degree of required authentication operation which is not perceived by the user. As the user holds the cellular phone 1 by hand, the control unit 12 issues an instruction to temperature obtaining units 15 to start detecting the temperature. The temperature obtaining units measure the temperature at regular intervals, and successively transfer the obtained temperature data to a temperature comparator unit 16. The temperature comparator unit judges whether the temperature data obtained by the temperature obtaining units are lying within a predetermined condition, and issues an instruction to biodata obtaining units 19 to obtain fingerprint data of the user depending upon the result of judgement. The biodata obtaining units obtain the fingerprint data of the user and transfer the obtained fingerprint data to a biodata authentication unit 20.

  • Publication number: 20040164765
Abstract: Consumption power control is provided for a system LSI made of a combination of a plurality of reusable logic circuit modules, i.e., Intellectual Property (IP) cores. Hardware resources such as interfaces and registers for the consumption power control of other IP cores are prepared and controlled by software for the consumption power control of a system LSI. The consumption power can be controlled at an IP core level. A method is provided which facilitates a system LSI designer to enter a consumption power control specification of a system LSI when the system LSI is configured.

  • Publication number: 20040153999
Abstract: If a plurality of operating systems are running in one computer and each of those operating systems has its own managed time, which is different from others, then trace log information items collected by those operating systems and merged in order of their generated times may not be as they are generated actually. In order to avoid such a problem, therefore, the present invention provides an operating system management system with recording means for storing a check point trace in the operation trace information of each of those operating systems, thereby finding the correspondence among those check point traces by searching the operation trace information item of each operating system, then adding such additional information as a time difference, a counter value, etc. to the operation trace information.

  • Patent number: 6760564
Abstract: A picture image forming apparatus including a photoreceptor belt driven by a drive device, a plurality of developing devices for forming toner picture images on the photoreceptor belt, an intermediate transfer device, to a surface of which toner picture images on the photoreceptor belt are overlappingly transferred plural times when a picture image is to be formed on a single page, and a transfer roller for pushing a sheet against the intermediate transfer device in order to transfer toner picture images to the sheet. The intermediate transfer device is an intermediate transfer belt contacted by the photoreceptor belt to be driven thereby. A photoreceptor-side roller enables contact of the intermediate transfer belt and the photoreceptor belt, and the intermediate transfer belt is trained around the photoreceptor-side roller and a transfer-side roller for pushing the sheet against the transfer roller. A diameter d2 of the transfer-side roller is smaller than a diameter d1 of the photoreceptor-side roller.
