  • Patent number: 5182676
Abstract: A retractable turn-over type rearview door mirror in which angular adjustment of the mirror member can be effected by manually operating an actuation lever. By using a certain linkage mechanism, a favorable correspondence is achieved between the direction of movement of the actuation lever and the direction of movement the mirror member. The use of a clutch unit permits the adjusted state of the mirror member to be conserved, even when the rearview door mirror is retracted and restored, by minimizing the influences of the retracting movement upon the linkage mechanism. This can be accomplished by applying a suitable amount of friction to the linkage mechanism, but, by using a lock lever which fixes the angular orientation of the mirror member when the rearview door mirror is retracted, the angular orientation of the mirror member may be kept fixed without requiring such a friction and it allows the operation of the actuation lever to be performed with a small force.

  • Patent number: 4859161
Abstract: A gear pump constructed in such a manner that bearing bushings are pressedly inserted in bushing insertion holes for supporting gear shafts therein, side plate are arranged on both sides of gears, and a part of hydraulic oil in a suction chamber is circulated through a lubricating oil introduction passage formed on an inside of each of the bearing bushings and a lubricating oil return passage formed on an outside of each of the bearing bushings. The lubricating oil return passages have outlets positioned in a manner to be laterally symmetric on the basis of a vertical line defined by connecting centers of the gear shafts and vertically symmetric on the basis of a horizontal line extending through a center of the vertical line and perpendicular to the vertical line. The side plates each are formed with a through-hole which is positioned on one side of the vertical line so as to be communicated to both outlets of the lubricating return passages vertically symmetric on the basis of the horizontal line.

  • Patent number: 4849749
Abstract: When a key is inserted into a key hole of a lock, magnetism creating means creates a magnetic flux corresponding to a predetermined magnetic code set in the key. Magnetism detecting means detects the magnetic flux and outputs a signal representing the detected magnetic flux. Decision means compares the signal value with a predetermined value, and outputs an agreement signal when the two values are the same. Driving means enables at least unlocking by key operation in response to the agreement signal. The magnetism detecting means outputs, as the above signal, a voltage corresponding to the magnitude of the detected magnetic flux or pulses having a frequency corresponding to same. At least one of material, dimensions, and thickness of the magnetic element determines the predetermined magnetic code. Further, an unlocking mechanism has a magnetic actuator which unlocks the lock by coupling the lock with unlocking means via a cam in response to the agreement signal.
