The image detection processor arranges a plurality of image detection processing elements 1-1 to 1-64 on a plane. Each image detection processing element includes an adder circuit 15 which converts an output of a photoelectric conversion part 5 into digital signals and can receive the digital signals as an input in a matrix form. Cumulative adders are constituted by connecting the adder circuits 15 for respective rows. Series adders 2-1 to 2-8 which are connected in series respectively receive outputs of final stages of cumulative adders of respective rows as inputs and can cumulatively add these outputs.

    Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit device has a hierarchical power supply system for a logic circuit. Inverters are provided with power supply from a main power supply line and a sub-power supply line of a higher potential and a main ground line and a sub-ground line of a lower potential. An internal power supply voltage-down converter is placed to set the voltage of the main power supply line higher than a normal operation voltage of the higher potential. An internal supply voltage boosting circuit is placed to set the voltage of the main ground line lower than a normal operation voltage of the lower potential. When respective power supply lines are short-circuited by a switching transistor, the voltage of each power supply line can be maintained at an operation supply voltage.

    Abstract: Shift switches are divided into a plurality of shift switch groups each having the same number of shift switches. The connection direction of each shift switch is switched at the shift switch corresponding to the shift position. The designation of the shift position is carried out by decoding an upper predecoding signal for designating what shift switch group the shift switch corresponding to the shift position belongs to and a lower predecoding signal for designating where the shift switch corresponding to the shift position is located in the shift switches belonging to the same shift switch group. Since the lower predecoding signal can be used as a common signal for each shift switch group, the scale of the decoding circuit for decoding the designation of the shift position can be restrained.

    Abstract: A transistor and a Pch circuit are connected in parallel to a power supply node of a CMOS circuit for receiving a power supply potential therefore. A transistor and an Nch circuit are connected in parallel to a ground node of the CMOS circuit for receiving a ground potential. During operation, the transistors are on, and the CMOS circuit operates fast. During standby, the Nch circuit or the Pch circuit is off in accordance with the state immediately before the standby. The Nch and Pch circuits are formed of transistors having larger threshold voltages than that of transistors of the CMOS circuit, so that a sub-threshold current during standby can be reduced.

    Abstract: In a tape loading device of the invention, a tape is taken out by tape guides mounted on an inclined loading ring, and the loading ring is rotated to wind the tape on a rotary drum from one side thereof. An auxiliary inclined guide is provided between the rotary drum and the leading tape guide. Only during a loading operation, the auxiliary inclined guide contacts the tape, while angularly moved about the leading tape guide. When the loading operation is completed, the auxiliary inclined guide is disengaged from the tape. With the provision of the auxiliary inclined guide, the tape is prevented from being twisted between the rotary drum and the leading tape guide.

    Abstract: A magazine in which a plurality of cartridges are contained as vertically moved stepwise by a distance separating two successive ones of the cartridges. The lift has a plurality of lift steps alternately engaged by a latching member. A rotary disk having two pins on its face is arranged adjacent the latching member. During rotation of the disk, one of the pins pivots the latching member out of engagement with a lift steps while the other of the pins supports the disengaged lift step to raise or lower the lift, depending upon the rotational direction of the disk. Further rotation of the disk permits the spring biased latching member to pivot back into a path where it engages the next lift step, thereby accomplishing one step of movement of the lift. Each time the lift is moved by one step, a pinch roller arrangement detects whether a cartridge is in the magazine corresponding to the position currently aligned with the inlet/outlet of the tape changer.

Repetitive cycling of reference patterns through the memory/method tend to restore missing portions of data.
