  • Patent number: 6836050
Abstract: A motor with brush includes a rotor having a rotary shaft and a commutator retained at the rotary shaft, two brush sections each having a plane surface in an axial direction of the rotor and in sliding contact with the commutator, and two brush terminals that are integral with the brush sections, respectively. Each of the brush terminals includes a brush connecting section formed in the axial direction of the rotary shaft and having a plane surface that connects to the plane surface of each of the corresponding brush sections, and a bent section that is bent in a direction generally orthogonal to the axial direction of the rotary shaft. The bent section restricts and fixedly positions the brush terminal and the brush section, and the brush terminals connect to external connection members that are provided outside the motor and inside an outer circumference of the motor.

The pair of brushes has an identical configuration. The outside brush is bent in a direction away from the other brush when the pair of the brushes is retained by the brush holder. The outside brush is further bend when in contact with the commutator. The inside brush has an end section extending toward an intermediate point of the outer brush in a longitudinal direction thereof. Each of the outside brush and the inside brush has a base section that is affixed to a terminal and an end section that is brought in contact with the commutator.

  • Publication number: 20030081395
Abstract: In portable electronic equipment, a liquid crystal display panel is mounted on the front face side of a casing of the display section, and a thin type battery section is removably fitted to a fitting portion on the rear face side of the casing. The thin type battery section is fixed to a high-strength support plate with flat portions of thin type batteries in close contact therewith. The thin type batteries are put into close contact with the thin high-strength support plate to back up the support plate. Thus, the support plate hardly flexes or dents, and the thin type batteries are free from occurrence of bending deformation.

  • Patent number: 6239788
Abstract: In a coordinate detection period, a first electrode drive circuit sequentially selects source electrodes Sn of the TFT LCD panel to connect the same to an x-signal current amplifying circuit, and to apply an AC voltage to the non-selected electrodes. The x-signal current amplifying circuit detects a detection current flowing through the selected electrode, the magnitude of which corresponds to a distance to a finger (or a conductor pen), to obtain an x-coordinate detection voltage. A second electrode drive circuit and a y-signal current amplifying circuit operate in similar fashion to obtain a y-coordinate detection voltage. A coordinate detection circuit then obtains the x- and y-coordinate values of the designated position based on the x-coordinate detection voltage and the y-coordinate detection voltage, thus enabling pointing by a codeless pen and a finger.
