Abstract: A computer includes a number of hard disk drives (HDDs), a number of Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) connectors correspondingly connected to the HDDs, and a number of jumpers. Each SATA connector includes a power supply pin, a spin-up pin, a ground pin, and a pin base with first to third pins. The first to the third pins are respectively connected to the power supply pin, the spin-up pin, and the ground pin. The second pin of each SATA connector is connected to either the first pin or the third pin by a corresponding jumper, thereby the corresponding HDD starts up with the computer or starts up at a preset time after the computer has started up.

Abstract: An expansion card includes a control chip, memory storage chips, and solid state drive (SSD) storage chips connected to the control chip. A first edge connector is set on a bottom edge of the expansion card and engages in a memory slot. The first edge connector includes first power pins connected to the memory storage chips, the SSD storage chips, and the control chip, first ground pins grounded, and first signal pins connected to the memory storage chips. An extending board is extended from a side edge of the expansion card and coplanar with the circuit board. A second edge connector is arranged on the extending board and connected to a storage device interface. The second edge connector includes second ground pins grounded and second signal pins connected to the control chip.

Abstract: A system for monitoring a number of hard disk drives (HDDs) arranged in a number of servers of a data center. The system includes a number of baseboard management controllers (BMCs) configured to obtain a state of each HDD arranged in a server and output status information corresponding to the state of each HDD, a control module, and a display module. The control module includes an address storage unit storing a number of internet protocol (IP) addresses corresponding to the BMCs, a request unit configured to receive a request of obtaining the status information of each HDD coupled to each BMC, and an analyzing unit configured to obtain the status information outputted by the BMC and analyze the status information to obtain the state of each HDD. The display module is configured to display the state of each HDD.

Abstract: A voltage adjustment circuit for a storage medium includes a storage medium interface, a storage medium control chip, and a switch module. When the storage medium is read or written to by the storage medium control chip, the storage medium control chip transmits a pair of differential signals to the storage medium interface so that the switch module can control a power supply to power the storage medium. And the switch module will control the power supply not to power the storage medium when the storage medium control chip does not operate to read or write the storage medium.

Abstract: An interface transmission device includes a controller, a principal connector, a plurality of subordinate connectors, and a plurality of switches with same numbers as those of the subordinate connectors. Each switch is connected to a subordinate connector. A logical address of each switch is different. The controller can exchange data with a PCIE card through the principal connector, or through one of the subordinate connectors according to a logical address of a switch.

Abstract: A motherboard (100) includes an X16-lane PCIE slot (1), an X8-lane PCIE slot (2), a controller (3), and a multiplexer (7). A feedback pin of the X16-lane PCIE slot (1) outputs a feedback signal when an X16-lane PCIE card is inserted into the X16-lane PCIE slot (1). When the multiplexer (7) does not receive the feedback signal, two X8-lane PCIE cards can be inserted into the X16-lane PCIE slot (1) and the X8-lane PCIE slot (2), respectively, to communicate with the controller (3). When an X16-lane PCIE card is inserted into the X16-lane PCIE slot (1), the multiplexer (7) receives the feedback signal, and the X16-lane PCIE card can communicate with the controller (3) through the X16-lane PCIE slot (1).

Abstract: An assisting apparatus is provided to unplug a Registered Jack-45 (RJ-45) connector from a connector of an electronic device. The assisting apparatus includes an operation member. The operation member includes a pivot portion pivotably connected to a sidewall of the electronic device, a handle extending from the pivot portion, and an urging plate extending from the pivot portion and located above a latch of the RJ-45 connector engaging with the connector of the electronic device. The handle is operable to rotate the operation member to allow the urging plate to push the latch down, to make the latch disengage from the connector of the electronic device.

Abstract: The body of an electronic device defines a receiving space for the insertion of a memory card, and the connecting pins inside the receiving space are at two different heights. The lower first conductive pins and the more upstanding second conductive pins each include a fixing piece and a resilient piece. An angle between the fixing piece and the resilient piece of each pin is greater for the more upstanding second conductive pins than it is for the first conductive pins. A memory card is received between a pivoting cover and the first and second conductive pins and the conductive pins of the memory card firstly deform the second conductive pins and only then deform the first conductive pins, to press all the resilient pieces into electrical contact with their fixing pieces.

The system acquires a storage capacity of a storage card in the mobile phone, defines the quantity of partitions, dividing the storage card into the quantity of partitions according to the storage capacity of the storage card, and defining a capacity of each partition, and names each partition to obtain a partition name and defining a relationship between each partition name and at least one suffix name. The system further acquires a suffix name of a file which will be stored to the storage card or has been stored in the storage card and saves the file, based on its suffix, to a corresponding one of the partitions related to the same suffix.

The indication unit is connected to the processor and indicates that the cover is open upon receiving the control signal.

A model list is provided for receiving a model corresponding to the household appliance selected from the model list, and a control interface of a control software that matches to the selected model is displayed on the handheld electronic device. The household appliance, thus, can be remotely controlled according to keys selected in the control interface.
