    Abstract: A motherboard assembly includes a motherboard and a serial advanced technology attachment dual in-line memory module (SATA DIMM) device. The motherboard includes a memory slot, a SATA connector, a power connector, a switch, an integrated baseboard management controller (IBMC), a fan, and a central processing unit (CPU). The memory slot includes a protrusion, first power pins connected to the power connector, first bus pins connected to the switch, first signal pins connected to the CPU. The SATA DIMM device includes a SATA connector, a power circuit, a control chip, a temperature sensor, and a number of storage chips. A notch is defined in a bottom side of the SATA DIMM device, to receive the protrusion. An edge connector is arranged on a bottom side of the SATA DIMM device and includes second power pins connected to the power circuit, second bus pins connected to the temperature sensor.

The system includes a number of baseboard management controllers (BMCs) configured to obtain a state of each HDD arranged in a server and output status information corresponding to the state of each HDD, a control module, and a display module. The control module includes an address storage unit storing a number of internet protocol (IP) addresses corresponding to the BMCs, a request unit configured to receive a request of obtaining the status information of each HDD coupled to each BMC, and an analyzing unit configured to obtain the status information outputted by the BMC and analyze the status information to obtain the state of each HDD. The display module is configured to display the state of each HDD.

    Abstract: An ejecting module is used in a server and includes a connector, a holder, a hard disk drive, a detecting circuit, a current output circuit, a first electromagnet and a second electromagnet. The hard disk drive is received in the holder. The detecting circuit detects whether the hard disk drive is electronically connected to the connector to output a control signal. The current output circuit receives the control signal and outputs a current. The first electromagnet is adjacent to the connector, and the second electromagnet faces the first electromagnet, the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet being electronically connected to the current output circuit. The current magnetizes the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet, a repulsion force is produced between the first electromagnet and the second electromagnet for moving the second electromagnet from the first electromagnet to be spaced from each other.

The buffer unit is connected with the serial-parallel converting unit and stores the parallel signals temporally.
