Patent number: 10409784Abstract: A facility comprising methods and systems for analyzing and visualizing trends in the usage of data within a shared storage filesystem is disclosed. The facility analyzes the rate at which the filesystem or a portion thereof is used by periodically generating manifests of the usage of the filesystem and comparing one manifest to another manifest. Furthermore, the facility may store additional information relevant to the manifest, such as the time at which the manifest was taken; for each directory, the sum of all of the values determined for items in that directory (including any subdirectories); and so on. In this manner, the facility collects and stores information relevant to developing trend information for each item in the filesystem. The trends analysis and visualizations described herein provide quick insight into the changes deemed most interesting or significant between two times.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2019Date of Patent: September 10, 2019Assignee: Qumulo, Inc.Inventors: Michael Adam Krasnow, Eric Jonathan Wright, Michael Liau, Alixandra Ming-Yi Han, Thomas R. Patent number: 10386329Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for digitally controlling an oxygen sensor. The apparatus comprises a computer and digital circuitry coupled to the oxygen sensor to convey information between the oxygen sensor and the computer. The oxygen sensor includes a pump cell and at least one Nernst cell configured to indicate the difference in oxygen content in a test medium relative to a reference medium. A pump control circuit operates the pump cell according to signals received from the computer based on output signals from the Nernst cell. A reference voltage circuit enables the computer to determine impedances of the oxygen sensor as a function of sensor temperature and pressure. A Nernst read circuit transmits output signals from the oxygen sensor digitally to the computer. Digital signals received by the computer are compared with stored reference information so as to determine the oxygen content of the test medium.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2016Date of Patent: August 20, 2019Assignee: AEM Performance ElectronicsInventor: Michael Adams

Publication number: 20190252220Abstract: Die handling systems and methods of use for preparing or processing dies from multiple types of pre-expanded wafer materials. The die handling systems are configured in a modular fashion, allowing for concurrent processes to expand the wafers, process the wafers, extract the dies, and inspect the extracted dies without forcing one of the processes of the system to remain idle. Embodiments of the wafer handler module include a mechanism, such as an expander capable of stretching or expanding wafers having one or more different sizes to a pre-expanded state without interrupting the die handler. The pre-expanded wafers are stored as a proprietary cartridge and delivered to the die handler, where a pick head of the die handler removes each die of the pre-expanded wafer and delivers the extracted dies to subsequent machinery, such as a pick and place machine, for further processing.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 13, 2017Publication date: August 15, 2019Inventors: Michael Murray Yingling, Sean Michael Adams, David W. Publication number: 20190141117Abstract: Individualized connectivity based request handling is disclosed. For example, a content source is accessed by a client device and a load balancer executes on a processor to receive a first request based on the client device accessing the content source. A first session variable is set to a first value in a first session and a first latency to the client device is measured. A first plurality of target nodes is selected based on the first session variable. A first plurality of messages is sent to the first plurality of target nodes. A second request is received from the client device after the first session expires, starting a second session. The first session variable is set to a different second value in the second session. A second plurality of messages is sent to a second plurality of target nodes different from the first plurality of target nodes.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2018Publication date: May 9, 2019Applicant: Engine Media, LLCInventors: Louis Clayton Ashner, Michael Zacharski, Michael Adam Grosinger, Mickey Alexander Schwab, John Patrick Roach

Publication number: 20190102848Abstract: A system and method for semi-automatic conflict resolution management and communication, achieved by hosting a mediation and management application on a cloud-networked server. The application presents via an app or web-link, an input screen to a complainant's device and uploads the complainant's conflict information to the server. The complainant can also e-file the law suit immediately, or after a pre-determined period of time has passed. The defendant is electronically notified of the impending law and offered an option for mediation through the application; and also an option to counter-claim, using the application's interfaces. If the defendant accepts the mediation option, then a certified mediator (likely crowd-sourced) engages the parties and begins negotiations through the application, to arrive hopefully at a settlement.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2018Publication date: April 4, 2019Applicant: SQUABBLE INTERNATIONAL, INC.Inventor: Michael Adam Egenthal
