  • Publication number: 20210108486
Abstract: This disclosure provides a multi-ball valve assembly that lessens the pressure applied from either uphole or downhole directions by directing a portion of the pressure into a sealed fluid chamber area between two balls that are operatively coupled together by one or more control arms. The multi-ball valve assembly may be a floating design where the balls move axially with respect to each other or fixed designs that use either pressure relief valves or biased travel piston valves to divert a portion of the pressure into the fluid chamber area, thereby lessening the distortion of the face of the ball valve against which fluid pressure is being applied.

  • Patent number: 10956465
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing qualitative responses from a plurality of user devices whereby a selection of a next thought object, to deliver to a first user device, may be based on a plurality of qualitative responses received from a plurality of user devices. In a preferred embodiment, a thought object selection computer may compute the selection by determining a filtered set of thought objects by custom selection. In some embodiments, if the quantity of the filtered set of thought objects is greater than a pre-configured amount the selection may be computed by randomly selecting a subset of the filtered set of thought objects. Further filtering the filtered set of thought objects by determining one or more least seen thought objects, and selecting a most diverse thought object, updating the filtered set of thought objects and sending the filtered set of thought objects to the first user device.

  • Patent number: 10926615
Abstract: A sealable covering for a vehicle includes a pliable base including walls, and a plurality of panels that are either attached to the walls or attachable to the walls. The walls and panels have an inner facing side configured to face an interior of the covering, and an outer facing side configured to face away from the interior. The inner facing side includes a first pocket for containing padding material. Either the inner facing side or the outer facing side includes a second pocket for receiving a piece of protective material, and the first pocket and the second pocket overlap each other. A connector at an edge of each panel connects the plurality of panels to form, with the base, an enclosure that completely encloses and seals the vehicle within the covering. • Patent number: 10920899
Abstract: An electronic controller of a valve actuator predictively calculates motor inputs that will cause the actuator to apply desired forces or torques to a valve. A force/torque sensor of the actuator measures applied force or torque at the motor output and/or valve to verify the applied force or torque and enable updating of calibration settings as needed. Upon failure of the force/torque sensor, embodiments continue predictive operation without sensor verification or calibration updates. Upon failure of the predictive control, embodiments continue valve actuation under reactive control via the force/torque sensor. Connection to a calibration valve simulator enables embodiments to perform an initial self-calibration using the force/torque sensor of the actuator. The motor can be a variable frequency driven AC motor or a DC motor. The calibration can incorporate mechanical properties of an actuator gear train.

  • Publication number: 20200346109
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlling the rendering of a video game instance includes obtaining game state information and player inputs from a plurality of client devices participating in a video game session. Based on the obtained game state information, a client device is identified as being likely to render a video game instance with a quality that is less than a threshold quality. A cloud game client is allocated to the identified client device. The player inputs associated with the identified client device and the obtained game state information are provided to the cloud game client, which renders the video game instance for the identified client device.
