  • Publication number: 20200273115
Abstract: According to some embodiments, data may be received indicative of a plurality of insurance claims. A risk transfer opportunity platform processor may, based on the received data, identify an insurance claim as being associated with a potential risk transfer opportunity. For the identified insurance claim, the risk transfer opportunity platform processor may automatically arrange for a potential risk transfer user interface to be displayed to a claim handler and may receive, via the potential risk transfer user interface, recovery details from the claim handler, including an overall total damage value and a high and low risk transfer value. A summary report may then be automatically generated for a plurality of insurance claims based in part on the recovery details received from the claim handler, and an indication of the summary report may be transmitted.

  • Patent number: 10746313
Abstract: A near field energized electronic valve actuator includes a power receiver that enables powering of control electronics using wireless RF energy received from an external device such as a laptop computer or smart cellular telephone handset when conventional power is unavailable to the actuator, thereby enabling exchange of data between the external device and the control electronics. Embodiments further enable data exchange between the control electronics and non-volatile memory during the wireless energization. The data can be exchanged, for example, during initial configuration of the actuator before customer delivery, during an unpowered maintenance period to retrieve operational log information stored by the control electronics, and/or to retrieve valve position information measured by a position sensor and/or fault-relevant data from the actuator when power has been interrupted due to an actuator or valve failure.

  • Publication number: 20200167378
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing qualitative responses from a plurality of user devices whereby a selection of a next thought object, to deliver to a first user device, may be based on a plurality of qualitative responses received from a plurality of user devices. In a preferred embodiment, a thought object selection computer may compute the selection by determining a filtered set of thought objects by custom selection. In some embodiments, if the quantity of the filtered set of thought objects is greater than a pre-configured amount the selection may be computed by randomly selecting a subset of the filtered set of thought objects. Further filtering the filtered set of thought objects by determining one or more least seen thought objects, and selecting a most diverse thought object, updating the filtered set of thought objects and sending the filtered set of thought objects to the first user device.

  • Patent number: 10642589
Abstract: A method includes receiving a user-defined extension configured to operate on data from a content database and comprising code expressed in a first programming language, the user-defined extension comprising at least one unresolved object and a function calling the at least one unresolved object. On a first pass through the user-defined extension code, each respective unresolved object is bound to a respective placeholder object such that the function calls each respective placeholder object and each respective placeholder object is mapped to the respective unresolved object, and delaying evaluation of the user-defined extension code until a second pass through the user-defined extension code. On the second pass, machine code corresponding to a compiled version of the user-defined extension is obtained by sequentially obtaining machine code for each respective unresolved object as each respective placeholder is called in the function.

  • Publication number: 20200124198
Abstract: An electronic controller of a valve actuator predictively calculates motor inputs that will cause the actuator to apply desired forces or torques to a valve. A force/torque sensor of the actuator measures applied force or torque at the motor output and/or valve to verify the applied force or torque and enable updating of calibration settings as needed. Upon failure of the force/torque sensor, embodiments continue predictive operation without sensor verification or calibration updates. Upon failure of the predictive control, embodiments continue valve actuation under reactive control via the force/torque sensor. Connection to a calibration valve simulator enables embodiments to perform an initial self-calibration using the force/torque sensor of the actuator. The motor can be a variable frequency driven AC motor or a DC motor. The calibration can incorporate mechanical properties of an actuator gear train.
