  • Publication number: 20230021678
Abstract: Various embodiments include a parallel processing computer system that provides multiple memory synchronization domains in a single parallel processor to reduce unneeded synchronization operations. During execution, one execution kernel may synchronize with one or more other execution kernels by processing outstanding memory references. The parallel processor tracks memory references for each domain to each portion of local and remote memory. During synchronization, the processor synchronizes the memory references for a specific domain while refraining from synchronizing memory references for other domains. As a result, synchronization operations between kernels complete in a reduced amount of time relative to prior approaches.

  • Patent number: 11559270
Abstract: A mobile diagnostic imaging system includes a battery system and charging system. The battery system is located in the rotating portion of the imaging system, and includes one or more battery packs comprising electrochemical cells. Each battery pack includes a control circuit that controls the state of charge of each electrochemical cell, and implements a control scheme that causes the electrochemical cells to have a similar charge state. The battery system communicates with a charging system on the non-rotating portion to terminate charge when one or more of the electrochemical cells reach a full state of charge. The imaging system also includes a docking system that electrically connects the charging system to the battery system during charging and temporarily electrically disconnects the rotating and non-rotating portions during imaging, and a drive mechanism for rotating the rotating portion relative to the non-rotating portion.

  • Publication number: 20230020779
Abstract: Dynamic categorization of documents from a semi-static classification taxonomy through the use of key terms, concepts, and entities. Dynamic categorization is a method for retrieving documents that are relevant to a specific category, which can be defined at the time the documents are needed. This is in contrast to a priori sorting and tagging (identifying) documents as to what categories they belong. The categories can be defined not just as a set of key words but may also include phrases, entities and/or relationships found in the document(s), complex field queries, weighted queries against words, as well as exclusion conditions.

  • Patent number: 11541533
Abstract: A virtualization system implemented within a cloud server enables the simulation of robot structure and behavior in a virtual environment. The simulated robots are controlled by clients remote from the cloud server, enabling human operators or autonomous robot control programs running on the clients to control the movement and behavior of the simulated robots within the virtual environment. Data describing interactions between robots, the virtual environment, and objects can be recorded for use in future robot design. The virtualization system can include robot templates, enabling users to quickly select and customize a robot to be simulated, and further enabling users to update and re-customize the robot in real-time during the simulation. The virtualization system can re-simulate a portion of the robot simulation when an intervention by a human operator is detected, positioning robots, people, and objects within the virtual environment based on the detected intervention.
