  • Publication number: 20140241869
Abstract: An inner shell assembly for a steam turbine includes an inner shell with a plurality of grooves of preset dimensions, and a plurality of nozzle carriers respectively securable in the plurality of grooves. Each of the nozzle carriers supports at least one nozzle and bucket for a turbine stage via a dovetail, where the inner shell, the plurality of nozzle carriers and the nozzles and buckets define a steam path. A radial position of the dovetails in the nozzle carriers within its corresponding grooves is selectable according to the steam path, and an axial width of each of the nozzle carriers is selectable according to the steam path.

  • Publication number: 20140141862
Abstract: An Internet gaming system and method enable play of a plurality of different Internet-based games made on an Internet game site. Game specific modules conduct play of the different respective games with players via an interface with the Internet game site. A secure game outcome generator determines a game outcome for each game play selected for play by a player and has a game specific outcome file for each game specific module, with each file having individual play scripts that are communicated to the game specific module for each game played by a player via the Internet lottery site. Each play script determines the outcome of the game play and includes a clear text portion that presents inventory and audit information in human readable text, and an encrypted data portion that presents all data determinative of the game play outcome in encrypted form.

  • Patent number: 8005741
Abstract: The present invention is a universal pension administration system that allows multiple companies to use the same system for valuation report generation, benefit calculation, database administration, and trust payment direction. Plan Actuaries define a pension plan by answering questions related to the plan. A Developer Actuary uses tools to develop a pension plan framework that defines plan questions and logic and calculations to support the plan definition. A first tool is used to define the logic for pension plan definition, calculation sequencing, and report generation. In the calculation sequencing, rules are defined to refer to spreadsheets in which complex calculations related to the plan are performed. A second tool is used to design discrete calculation objects using a standard client-based spreadsheet. The spreadsheets are sequenced on a server in any manner as dictated by expert system code generated from the calculation-sequencing tool.

  • Patent number: 7903678
Abstract: An Internet Protocol address manager creates data containers for managing Internet Protocol addresses. Each data container can store an address block of Internet Protocol addresses and includes a container policy for managing the address block. Additionally, the Internet Protocol address manager creates links between the data containers to organize the data containers into a container hierarchy. The Internet Protocol address manager can then allocate the address blocks or portions thereof among the data containers in the container hierarchy according to the container policies. Moreover, each data container can be associated with a network or subnet of a computer network. Further, the Internet Protocol address manager can assign an Internet Protocol address contained in the address block of a data container to a network host or host device in the network or subnet associated with the data container.
