  • Patent number: 6577442
Abstract: In one embodiment of the invention, a grating structure etched on a mirror substrate has a grating period causing diffracting, out of an optical path, a first incident radiation within a first band around a first wavelength. A multi-layer coating deposited on the grating structure reflects the first incident radiation, in the optical path, within the first band and a second incident radiation within a second band around a second wavelength. In another embodiment, a first multi-layer coating deposited on a mirror substrate reflects a first incident radiation within a first band around a first wavelength and a second incident radiation, in an optical path, within a second band around a second wavelength. A grating structure is deposited on the first multi-layer coating. The grating structure is etched to have a grating period causing diffracting, out of the optical path, the second incident radiation within the second band.

  • Publication number: 20030057178
Abstract: A method for making a substrate for a mirror used in photolithography is described. That method comprises forming a crystalline layer on a first layer, which has a low coefficient of thermal expansion. Part of the crystalline layer is then removed to form on the first layer a second layer that has a high quality surface finish.

  • Publication number: 20030055772
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system for facilitating a transaction between a buyer and a plurality of sellers for a product sold at quoted rate that may include establishing an information exchange system for exchanging information between the buyer and the plurality of sellers, wherein the information exchange system is independent of the buyer and the plurality of sellers. A profile may be established for the buyer (containing buyer information), and for each of the independent plurality of sellers that contains seller information for said individual seller, as well as product information for at least one of the products offered by each individual seller and statistics for the individual seller. A request for product information may be received from the buyer, and product information may be compiled from the individual seller profiles using the buyer information and the seller information.

  • Patent number: 6522465
Abstract: In one embodiment of the invention, a transmitting spectral filter includes a thin film layer and a grating structure. The thin film layer is made of transmitting material to transmit a first incident radiation within a first band around a first wavelength. The first incident radiation is reflected from a mirror in an optical path. The grating structure is deposited on the thin film layer and is etched to have a grating period. The grating period causes transmission of the first incident radiation within the first band and causes at least one of reflection and diffraction of the second incident radiation above a second wavelength out of the optical path.
