  • Publication number: 20250166471
Abstract: A visual signaling system includes smart signage with a set of three or more lights visible from a single direction. Activation of the lights in a first pattern indicates a hazard and for individuals to move away from the sign. Activation of the lights in a second pattern indicates safety and for individuals to move toward the sign. Activation of the lights in a third pattern indicates a need for caution and for individuals to refrain from approaching the sign. The visual signaling system may include a plurality of smart signs which display different patterns on different signs depending on the location of each sign relative to the hazard, thereby guiding individuals away from the hazard.

  • Publication number: 20250150722
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein that use passive metasurfaces for optical domain image processing, reducing power consumption, latency, and/or computational load in computer vision. As an example, an optical detection device may include an optical assembly that generates multiple copies of an image, which are processed by an array of metasurface filters. Each metasurface filter applies a predefined pattern to a specific image copy. The filtered image copies are used to identify features of interest with reduced computational demands. For example, a first filter may target a first feature, while a second filter targets a second feature. The intensity of the optical radiation output by each filter is used to determine a confidence level that each respective feature is present in the image.

  • Publication number: 20250146336
Abstract: A locking mechanism for a slide out tray system may have a cam that is connected to a lock rod. A lock bar lever may be rotatable about an offset portion, such that when the cam is rotated, the end of the lock bar lever in contact with the cam is pushed upwards, thus pushing the opposite end of the lock bar lever downwards to push the locking plate down, allowing the slide out tray system to slide into a closed position. A bushing lock may interact with lock rod flanges. The lock rod flanges roll over and are supported by a bushing. When the bushing meets a space between the lock rod flanges, the lock rod may automatically rotate such that the flange contacts an edge of the bushing lock, thus preventing the lock rod and tray system from extending any further.

  • Publication number: 20250148002
Abstract: A media search system is described here that finds existing media based on matching metadata and links them together for orderly viewing. The system uses social media providers and artificial intelligence and/or machine learning and or other public APIs to search available metadata of media stored by each provider to find matching metadata for what a person is looking for in a specified area. The system may apply artificial intelligence (AI) to generate additional criteria to use for the search to find media responsive to the person's request. The system then groups the discovered media according to the found metadata and AI may also contribute suggestions for organizing the discovered media. Once the media is grouped together, the system allows the user to switch between media within the same group. Thus, the media search system makes the wealth of available media more accessible to people looking for a particular event.

  • Patent number: 12287822
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed herein to address the problems discussed above and in particular to provide coordination for uncoordinated content. Beyond simply archiving and/or organizing available content, the methods and systems generate composite media assets that provide enriched details and supplemental data that extends beyond any given source content. The methods and systems achieve this through a novel data filtration and synchronization process.

  • Patent number: 12286686
Abstract: A process to recover nickel, cobalt and copper by co-processing copper-containing sulphide concentrate feed containing one or more of arsenic, antimony, and bismuth, and laterite ore feed containing nickel and cobalt by pressure oxidative leaching. The sulphide concentrate and oxygen are controlled to produce sulphuric acid to leach nickel, cobalt, copper and acid soluble impurities into a liquid phase of an acidic leach slurry, to precipitate iron compounds and a majority of the arsenic, antimony and bismuth as solids, and to produce heat to heat the incoming feeds to a temperature above 230° C. Reacted slurry is withdrawn, solids are separated, and the PLS solution contains the nickel, cobalt, copper and acid soluble impurities. A first solution purification stage on the PLS neutralizes free acid, precipitates one or more of iron, aluminum, chromium and silicon, and, separates as solids, the precipitated impurities and other solids from a first purified solution.
