  • Publication number: 20250061871
Abstract: An electronic instrument 4 includes a first cymbal 11comprising metal. The first cymbal 11 is electrically conductive. Furthermore, the electronic instrument 4 includes a capacitance-type touch sensor 43, and the first cymbal 11 is used as a touch electrode of the touch sensor 43. Thus, when a performer with capacitance touches the first cymbal 11, the line-to-ground capacitance of the first cymbal 11 changes, and a signal corresponding to the change in line-to-ground capacitance is output from the touch sensor 43. Therefore, when the performer touches the first cymbal 11 in the same manner as when muting a conventional cymbal, a signal indicating mute can be output from the touch sensor 43.

  • Publication number: 20250057540
Abstract: An embolic coil with improved anchor, system, and method of manufacture, formed from shape memory wire comprises primary, secondary, and tertiary coils. Secondary coils may be formed from one or more open, single-turn, multi-turn, or transition loops. Anchor groups at distal and/or proximal portions of the coil may comprise one or more open, single-turn, or multi-turn loops, and may be used to facilitate manufacturing to improve safe anchoring of the coil within an aneurysm sac, regardless of the neck size. The coil may be formed on a mandrel with a groove in one or more spherical and cylindrical surfaces, which may be scaled to fabricate a variety of coil sizes. The multiple coils of the anchor and intermediate portions deploy self-adaptively in separate, non-parallel planes, substantially assuming the inner surface of an irregularly shaped, constricted, or un-constricted, aneurysm and provides improved framing, filling, and uniform fill distribution.

  • Patent number: 12231188
Abstract: Described are systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for wireless in-ear-monitoring (IEM) of audio. A system includes transmitter(s) configured to map orthogonal sub-carriers of a digital signal to narrowband receivers to form receiver-allocated audio channels, modulate the digital signal, and transmit the signal as an ultra-high frequency (UHF) analog carrier wave comprising the orthogonal sub-carriers to the nearby receiver. A narrowband receiver is configured to demodulate and sample the sub-carriers allocated to the receiver. Sub-carriers can be positioned orthogonal to one another in adjacent sub-bands of the frequency domain and beacon symbols and pilot signals can be iteratively provided in the same portion of the frequency domain for each channel. The receiver can use non-data-aided and data-aided approaches for synchronization of the time domain and frequency domain waveforms of the received signal to the transmitted signal prior to sampling the allocated sub-carriers.
