  • Patent number: 11572949
Abstract: An incrementally assembled skin-constrained inflatable bellows system includes a top end cap, a bottom end cap, and a bellows attached to and separating the top end cap and the bottom end cap and configured to hold pressurized fluid between the top and bottom end caps. The system further includes a nozzle configured to allow fluid to enter and exit the bellows, and an inextensible skin attached to each of the top end cap, the bottom end cap, and to the bellows. The top end cap assumes a first position when the bellows is inflated via the nozzle and, when the top end cap is adjusted from the first position to a second position, the skin is configured to maintain the top end cap in the second position and constrains the bellows into a predefined rigid three-dimensional shape.

  • Patent number: 11551168
Abstract: In some examples, a service provider may determine from a shift schedule that a first employee is scheduled to work a particular shift at a business within a threshold period of time. The service provider may determine, based on a location of a first mobile device of the first employee, that the first employee is unlikely to arrive at the business in time for the start of the particular shift. In response, the service provider may find a replacement employee to fill the shift of the first employee. For instance, the service provider may send the communication to a second mobile device associated with a second employee that is determined to be within a threshold distance of the business. Alternatively, if the service provider determines that the business is overstaffed on a particular day, the service provider may offer a selected employee an incentive to depart work early.

  • Patent number: 11535892
Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions and methods that employ the compositions for conducting pairwise sequencing and for generating concatemer template molecules for pairwise sequencing. The concatemers can be generated using a rolling circle amplification reaction which is conducted either on-support, or conducted in-solution and then distributed onto a support. The rolling circle amplification reaction generates concatemers containing tandem copies of a sequence of interest and at least one universal adaptor sequence. An increase in the number of tandem copies in a given concatemer increases the number of sites along the concatemer for hybridizing to multiple sequencing primers which serve as multiple initiation sites for polymerase-catalyzed sequencing reactions. When the sequencing reaction employs detectably labeled nucleotides and/or detectably labeled multivalent molecules (e.g.

  • Publication number: 20220301724
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable injury prediction using one or more processors for receiving a time-varying signal of sensor measurements from a sensor device associated with a user. The processor(s) generate time windows of the time-varying signal, including a series of the sensor measurements across a predetermined time period, and generate motion features based at least in part on the series of the sensor measurements of the time windows. The processor(s) utilize an injury risk classification machine learning model to predict an injury risk during each time window based at least in part on the motion features. An injury alert message is generated based at least in part on the injury risk being predicted; and transmitting the injury alert message to at least one user computing device.

  • Patent number: 11372017
Abstract: Methods, techniques, apparatus, and algorithms are described for robustly measuring real-world distances using any mobile device equipped with an accelerometer and monocular camera. A general software implementation processes 2D video, precisely tracking points of interest across frames to estimate the unsealed trajectory of the device, which is used to correct the device's inertially derived trajectory. The visual and inertial trajectories are then aligned in scale space to estimate the physical distance travelled by the device and the true distance between the visually tracked points.
