  • Publication number: 20220387015
Abstract: Described herein are devices for approximating targeted tissue by intertwining two or more sutures together. The sutures are attached to the targeted tissue and routed to a twister device. The twister device secures end portions of the sutures and twists them to intertwine the sutures. Controlling the number of twists provides control over the forces applied to the targeted tissue. In conjunction with visualization feedback, real-time adjustments can be made to achieved targeted results, such as elimination of mitral regurgitation when the disclosed methods and apparatus are applied to mitral valve repair.

  • Patent number: 11496293
Abstract: A request is received from a computing device for substitute data, with access to the substitute data being contingent upon successful multi-factor authentication of the first service. Signature data based on the request is generated using a first key of public-private key pair. Credential proof and the signature is provided to a second service, which verifies the credential proof as a first factor of the multi-factor authentication and verifies, using a second key, the signature as a second factor of the multi-factor authentication. The substitute data is obtained as a result of authentication by the second service. The computing device is caused, by providing the substitute data to the computing device, to input the substitute data into the interface in place of data associated with the first entity.

  • Publication number: 20220314656
Abstract: A printing system comprises one or more printheads arranged to eject ink to a deposition region. Print media are held by vacuum suction against a movable support surface, which transports the print media though the deposition region. The vacuum suction is communicated from a vacuum source to the movable support surface via a vacuum plenum. An airflow control system comprises one or more dampers arranged in the vacuum plenum to control airflow between the vacuum source and the movable support surface. The dampers have an adjustable impedance to airflow through the damper. The airflow control system is configured to adjust the impedance of the damper based on a detected condition of the printing system. A detected condition of the printing system may include, for example, a sensed pressure in the vacuum plenum.

  • Publication number: 20210328855
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for contextual generation of an ephemeral network are provided. The method detects an initiating event for network generation associated with a user of a first computing device. The method determines a duration of the initiating event. A set of network members is determined based on the initiating event and the duration. The method establishes an ephemeral network, connecting at least a portion of computing devices associated with the set of network members. The ephemeral network is terminated in response to detecting a completion event. In response to terminating the ephemeral network, member information for the set of network members is removed from the portion of the computing devices.
