  • Patent number: 12080970
Abstract: A card connector that is removably fixable to a main body of a carrier system. For example, an outer flange of the card connector may be removably fixed (e.g., with fasteners, such as bolts) to the main body of the carrier system. A protrusion of the card connector may include a connector configured to electrically couple to the plugin card. The protrusion may extend into an interior of the main body when the card connector is removably fixed to the main body, such that the plugin card is disposed entirely within the main body. The card connector provides for a user to easily remove the card connector from the main body (e.g. by unfastening bolts and sliding the card connector out of the main body) and removably fix a new card connector to the main body. The new card connector may include different internal electronics or external porting than the original card connector.

  • Patent number: 11964062
Abstract: An antimicrobial device, such as a flashlight, lantern, or lamp, is discussed herein. The antimicrobial device produces light in the ultraviolet (UV) spectrum (i.e., 150-250 nm), including 200-230 nm. The antimicrobial device includes an electron source, an extractor, and a target material. The electron source provides the electrons of sufficient energy to cause a photon to be released, whether by a target or by the electron itself. The extractor extracts the electrons from the electron source. The target material is a component at which the electron is directed. The target material can release a photon having a desired wavelength or within a desired wavelength range or cause the electron to release a photon having a desired wavelength or within a desired wavelength range.

  • Publication number: 20240103053
Abstract: Position sensing and verification modules and a meter are provided. A module is configured to determine a position of one or more switch poles by measuring a current across the one or more switch poles. If a current is greater than or equal to a predetermined current threshold, the position is closed. If a current is less than the predetermined current threshold, the position is open. The module is configured to determine a line voltage with respect to a first reference value, determine a load voltage with respect to the first reference value, compare the line voltage to the load voltage to determine if the line voltage and the load voltage are within a predetermined threshold, and confirm the position of the one or more switch poles based on the comparison of the line voltage to the load voltage for the one or more line phases.
