  • Publication number: 20230262928
Abstract: Examples described herein relate to compact and replaceable accumulator to be utilized in a chassis-level cooling device. The accumulator is a low pressurized device having a housing, a bladder, and a compressible fluid. The housing has an inner surface defining a volume and an opening. The bladder is disposed within a volume portion and attached to the opening. The bladder includes a plurality of elongated wall sections foldably coupled to each other and defining a bladder volume therebetween. The bladder inflates by unfolding the plurality of elongated wall sections to increase the bladder volume in response to an increase in a pressure of a working fluid inside the bladder volume. The compressible fluid is contained in a remaining volume portion between the inner surface of the housing and the bladder. The compressible fluid is compressed to an offset pressure in response to inflation of the plurality of elongated wall sections.

  • Publication number: 20230256252
Abstract: A method of selecting a combination of electrodes for use in neurostimulation includes testing combinations of electrodes in an electrode array to identify an atrial capture. The atrial capture is indicated by at least one effect on an atrium. The method includes excluding electrodes with the atrial capture to result in remaining electrodes of the electrode array, testing combinations of the remaining electrodes of the electrode array for effect on cardiac contractility and/or relaxation, and selecting a combination of electrodes from the remaining electrodes. The selected combination has both a desired effect on cardiac contractility and/or relaxation and does not have an undesired side effect.

  • Patent number: 11728146
Abstract: Imaging by cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) requires that a sample be encased in an amorphous solid, such as amorphous ice. In current cryo-EM preparation systems, once the sample has been deposited on an EM grid and coated in the amorphous solid, the EM grid must be removed from vacuum and then transferred into the vacuum of the cryo-EM system. As a result, samples deposited on the grid are exposed to damage and contamination. The present invention provides improved EM grid handling systems and devices compatible with advanced cryo-EM sample preparation techniques and which reduce or eliminate exposure of the sample on the grid to atmosphere and elevated temperatures. These methods and devices will also significantly reduce handling time and complexities associated with cryo-EM sample preparation.

  • Patent number: 11726787
Abstract: Reusing fetched, flushed instructions after an instruction pipeline flush in response to a hazard in a processor to reduce instruction re-fetching is disclosed. An instruction processing circuit is configured to detect fetched performance degrading instructions (PDIs) in a pre-execution stage in an instruction pipeline that may cause a precise interrupt that would cause flushing of the instruction pipeline. In response to detecting a PDI in an instruction pipeline, the instruction processing circuit is configured to capture the fetched PDI and/or its successor, younger fetched instructions that are processed in the instruction pipeline behind the PDI, in a pipeline refill circuit.

  • Patent number: 11724800
Abstract: A vibration attenuator is configured for use on an aircraft rotor rotatable about a mast axis and has upper and lower weight assemblies, each comprising a weight with a center of gravity being a radial distance from the mast axis. The weight assemblies are configured for rotation together relative to the rotor at a selected angular rate about the mast axis, the weights being located on opposing sides of the mast axis. A first motor is configured for selective translation of one of the weight assemblies relative to the other weight assembly along the mast axis between a minimum-moment configuration, in which the centers of gravity of the weights revolve about the mast axis in the same plane, and a maximum-moment configuration, in which the centers of gravity of the weights revolve about the mast axis in different planes for producing a whirling moment about the mast axis.

  • Publication number: 20230250560
Abstract: Thermally stable absorbable fiber populations, i.e. fiber populations that do not undergo thermally induced crystallization, can be intermixed with thermally unstable fibers to yield a stabilizing effect without altering morphological properties of a fiber system. Via this, one may minimize thermally induced shrinkage and maintain physical properties of electrospun materials in the as-formed state.

  • Patent number: 11722502
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods executing a security server that perform various processes using alert elements containing various data fields indicating threats of fraud or attempts to penetrate an enterprise network. Using alert elements, the security server generate integrated alerts that are associated with customers of the system and assign a risk score for the integrated alerts, which the security server uses to store and sort the integrated alerts according to a priority, based on the relative risk scores. Analyst computers may query and fetch integrated alerts from an integrate alert database, and then present the integrate alerts to be addressed by an analyst according to the priority level of the respective integrated alerts. This allows to ensure that the right customer, is worked by the right analyst, at the right time, to maximize fraud prevention and minimize customer impact.

  • Patent number: 11719444
Abstract: A water heater system includes a controller configured to integrate control of both recovery and recirculation operations of a recovery pump and a recirculation pump. As such, a separate device, installation location, and power source (e.g., available outlet) is not needed with the controller. Because a single controller is configured to control both recovery and recirculation operations, additional control functions are available. The controller may be in communication with an internal controller of the water heater and configured to receive an error notification upon abnormal operation of the water heater. The controller can stop recovery and recirculation operations in response to an error notification, unlike with traditional water heating systems which may otherwise continue to function. The recovery and recirculation operations are based on a setpoint temperature of the water heater such that changes made to the setpoint temperature will automatically adjust in the recovery and recirculation operations.

  • Patent number: 11722654
Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein may be utilized to detect, measure, and/or compensate for misalignments of a display that may occur after manufacturing. A Talbot sensor is described that includes a diffraction device and an image sensor. Captured images from the image sensor include pixel data values that include bright and dark spots that represent a diffraction pattern associated with the Talbot sensor. A demodulator multiplies the pixel data values with sine and cosine reference images to generate averaged in-phase and quadrature values, which can be used to determine a phase angle for incident light on the Talbot sensor. Phase angle changes over time indicate changes in the alignment of the display, which may be corrected by display parameter manipulation. The resulting devices, systems and methods provide for portable solutions, with reduced cost of manufacturing, reduced part costs, and reduced complexity.

  • Publication number: 20230245595
Abstract: A self-laminating rotating cable marker label is constructed of a transparent film having a first adhesive area, an adhesive-free smooth area, and a second adhesive area. A print-on area forms one side of the transparent film, the print-on area adapted to receive indicia identifying the cable about which the marker label is applied. A perforation extends across the transparent film providing a line of separation of the transparent film. When wrapped around a cable, the second adhesive area overlies the print-on area such that the cable identifying indicia is visible through the transparent second adhesive area. As the transparent film is wrapped around the cable, the first adhesive area adheres to the cable. The remainder of the transparent film is rotated, breaking the perforation, whereby the smooth area of the film in contact with the cable provides smooth rotation of the label around the cable.
