  • Publication number: 20240041431
Abstract: A method is provided for generating an ultrasound image of an anatomical region having a volume. First image low resolution image data is enhanced by adapting a 3D anatomical model to the image data to generate a second, greater, quantity of ultrasound image data in respect of the anatomical region. The enhanced volumetric information is then displayed. An anatomical model is thus used to complete partial image data thereby increasing the image resolution, so that a high resolution volumetric image can be displayed with a reduced image capture time.

  • Publication number: 20240032892
Abstract: A method is provided for determining one or more tissue boundaries within ultrasound image data of anatomical region. The method is based on generating two separate images from the same input ultrasound data, acquired in a single acquisition event. One image is generated with contrast enhancement, so that boundaries surrounding a fluid-containing region are especially well visible and, the second image is generated without this enhancement, or with a different enhancement so that boundaries surrounding tissue regions are especially well visible. An image segmentation procedure is then applied which uses a combination of both images as input and uses both to determine the boundaries within the imaged regions.

  • Publication number: 20240035890
Abstract: A color measurement instrument for measuring colors of areas of interest of a target object includes a spectral engine, a color camera, a display, and a processor. The spectral engine has a first field of view. The camera has a second field of view, the second field of view being larger than the first field of view and encompassing the first field of view. The processor is coupled to the spectral engine, camera and display, and configured with instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to display a live view of the second field of view on the display with a representation of the location of the first field of view superimposed on the displayed live view, an area of interest is detected as wholly occupying the first field of view, and a measurement is made.

  • Patent number: 11849327
Abstract: Secure pairing of computing devices, such as a field tool and a battery-powered device (BPD), may include generating by the BPD a challenge message including a randomly-generated challenge, and receiving at the field tool a challenge message from the BPD via a Bluetooth low-energy (BLE) advertisement message. The challenge message can include a randomly-generated challenge and can be issued in a scannable undirected advertising message. The challenge key can be calculated via a secure hash algorithm (SHA) to obtain a response solution. The response solution can be sent by the field tool to the advertising device in response to the challenge message. The response solution can be verified by the BPD using a cryptographic message authentication code such as an HMAC, and the BPD sends a confirmation message to the field tool indicating that the response solution is verified as correct.

  • Patent number: 11777968
Abstract: A method and device for handling an anomaly at a unit. The device is integrated into the unit. A variable is detected for handling attacks on the unit that defines an operation of the unit. A piece of information is determined depending on the variable that characterizes surroundings in which the unit is operated. It is checked depending on a comparison of the piece of information about the surroundings to a piece information about the setpoint surroundings for the operation of the unit, whether or not an anomaly is present in the operation of the unit. The unit is operated in a first operating mode having a first functional range, if no anomaly is detected. The unit is operated in a second operating mode having a second functional range, which is reduced or changed with regard to the first functional range, if an anomaly is detected.
